Depends where you live, and if you only want to sell local.

If you live in a snowbelt, yes I agree. But if you live in a 3 season State, the A/S set would be easier to sell locally.

I didn't say anything about making profit. I said i wanted to know which would be EASIER to sell after i return this car (and not get another M3).

The replies in this thread implied that people would rather go with A/S than an actual winter tire. So i didn't want to sit on a winter wheel set after i'm done with the M3 because no one wanted a winter tire etc.

Personally when I started this thread, I was looking for a winter set up. But given that i dont plan on driving it daily and have my X3, I am leaning towards all seasons. Also winter tires are hard to find in the middle of winter and I was planning on getting my tires in Dec when i do PCD and worried I might not be able to find one in stock. I have been using winters on my X3 and its always a crapshoot when u plan on changing them. The first snow storm u change, then its all warm after that. The first warm spell in spring u swap out ur winters but then more cold spells/snow comes by and u just take a chance with them. Of i were u, ill go with A/S and use them more and dont have to worry about swapping them too early or later. When u sell them, most likely they would buy based on wheels than the tires as ur thread wear might be more by then

Well the bad timing on the wheel swap isn't a big deal because as i said i have other cars to use. I just wanted a proper set this time around for the M3 so i can drive it more than last winter.

I picked up my car last november and i did the 1200 mile break in mid january lol. So 1200 miles in those 2 months. Then when we did get actual winter weather from break in to spring time, i think i only put another 500 miles. So the car sat a lot during winter.

I don't want to do that this winter. But i'm debating because i'll only have this car 2 full winters before i give it back fall of 2024. Is it worth getting an actual winter tire or go with A/S because that expands the audience of who might want a set like this, even if it's their back up set and not necessarily a dedicated winter set.

And the cost for A/S tires to the winter tires i'm looking at are the same. But i don't care about the money, i just don't want to get stuck with a set of wheels/tires when my lease is up.

If I was in your shoes, I would go with winter set up esp if u r planning on getting maximum performance from ur car in winter and not have to limit urself due to A/S. You shouldn't have a hard time selling those winters with rims as you can see most of the purist would prefer winters to A/S and if im going to daily my car I would def look for dedicated winters than A/S

Yeah i'm thinking maybe going with a nicer looking wheel which might help with getting rid of them later on.

Yeah i'm just going to go with winters. Might as well lol.

The VMR wheels from EAS are the correct bolt pattern and center bore for the G80. The website has multiple fitment. Just DM Kevin@EAS he will get you the right fitment for the G80.

Most likely you're going to call in your order. And the salesperson will verify the fitment once you give your cars info.
