My OEM 826M Wheels Were Delivered!

After ordering these OEM jet black 19"/20" 826M wheels from a couple of BMW part sites online, only to have the orders canceled later due to "the possibility of the wheels being damaged in shipping", I finally found a BMW parts site that would ship to my residence....and for a good price too! Next month I'll order a set of Continental Extremecontact DWS 06 + A/S Tires since these wheels/tires will be used as my dedicated Winter set.

Wheels came in pristine condition....boxes inside of boxes & shrink-wrapped....with foam sheets protecting the finish on front & back of each wheel. I did not find any damage or imperfections....yay me!

In addition, my rho-plate license plate relocator kit and CF mud flaps came in this week as well. Just waiting on the TPMS, CF/Alcantara seat back covers, BMW rubber floor mat set, BMC Performance air filters, BMW LED door projectors & slides which all should be delivered next week.

Now I just need an M3 to put them on!

Hopefully you got a good deal on the wheels. I've been ordering my stuff from Germany, lately. I don't know if the US dealers are just ripping us off, or what? 4 wheels DHL International shipping. $2,535 converted. I ordered my M Performance HAS from them, as well.

I paid a total of $2,367.59 (Part numbers 36108093838 / 36108093839) for the four wheels w/shipping.

I ordered a bunch of parts from baum recently, but later they said they couldn't ship me the M Performance lip because the package was too large....so I cancelled my full order with them. And because of the fluctuating dollar, the credit card refund from them was $10.86 short due to the exchange rate at the time.

So I'm going to stick with U.S. sales sites for OEM parts....even if they are a bit higher. My list of sites I choose from is like 10 long.

I ordered the wheels from: BMWPartsWorldWide.com

As for other BMW parts sites:

GetBMWParts.com
BMWDirectParts.com
BMWPartsDirect.com
BMWAutoPartsWholesale.com
GenuineBMWMiniParts.com
BMWMiniPartsDepot.com
DiscountOEMBMWParts.com
BMWPartsHub.com

Keep in mind that prices fluctuate, so shop other BMW part sites as well.

In addition, bi-color 826M wheels are like $200 a piece more expensive....hence why I went with the Jet black for my Winter set....

Good hunting!

Ah, good to know. I've added the front lip to cart on Baum, last night, and even though shipping was steep, it was much cheaper than getting the part from the US sites, but it's not cheaper if they won't ship it.

That means that the $3,900 Bronze 1000m wheel package, that cost $8,100, in the US, is a no go. chicagofan00, our dreams are shattered.

Did you consider ordering just 4 fronts and going with a square winter setup? If so, what made you choose the staggered setup, just aesthetics? BTW, which places mentioned they couldn't guarantee the wheels from being damaged?

No. When the weather is bad, I just WFH. And since these will be on the car for just about 6 months of the year, I wanted as close to a stock feel to the car as possible during that timeframe.

GenuineBMWMiniParts.com and I can't remember the other since I've deleted the emails. I have my Winter wheels now, so I'm happy.

Damn, I always price parts through Genuine BMW Mini. They have some of the best prices.

I've consistently found BMWPartsWorldWide.com having the best prices on most parts.

I actually have them on my list of cheap places to purchase, as well. I think I had my OEM carbon mirror caps in their cart, for a minute, before Schmeidmann blew everyone out of the water. For me, in California, it all depends on if they charge me tax or not.

Good point on the taxes. So far I haven't paid any buying OEM parts for my car....just shipping....

I recently though found the best prices total for my Front/Rear floor rubber mats, and M Performance door projectors & slides at BMWDirectParts.com.

Usually depends on the part and where it's shipping out of....

Yes, I think that's the caveat. Where the parts actually ship from. Some of these parts places are in California, and I could order an exhaust and it could cost me another $300-$500 in tax. Genuine BMW mini, let's me check all the way out without hitting me with the tax, which makes a huge difference.

Would you mind weighing them to see if the stated weight is correct?

I can't seem to find the bi color 826 m wheels in that site….when I click on wheels, it only gives me the option to choose from locks and caps; no actual wheels show up. Any ideas?

Same here. You can just google it and find the part number, for 826m bi color I got 36-10-8-093-837. You can't just choose your vehicle model and browse all parts compatible with your vehicle on the website.

On the all the BMW part sites I listed, one can easily put any 826M wheel into the cart. Here are the bi-colors for standard brakes....the trick is you need to know the part number of the item you want....Part #36108093836 / 36108093837....

Thanks. I guess his question (also mine) is how you found out the part number itself? Did you just google it or there’s an archived doc? I knew there was a database online for all bmw parts but it’s not up to date.
