Just learned all four of my Conti DWS 06+ tires were delivered to the shop! Next Saturday they get mounted/balanced to my new 826M rims....

Now I just need an M3 to put them on!


I should have optioned for 826M Black. You can almost buy 2 of these for the price of one 825M Orbit Grey Matt with Burnished Rim Edge (Bright Turned/Diamond Cut) and less unsprung weight!

Congrats. You really went all in If onky they would make the darn car sooner, we all can get these wheels on sooner and drive around too. Btw where did u buy these weights ? Did the tire installer have black weights ?

I got them on Amazon, and no the tire shop I had the work done did not have black wheel weights of their own. Good thing I brought them along!....

And if anybody asks, I weighed the wheels again w/tires & TPMS (no center caps):

Front - 49.5 lbs

Rear - 52.5 lbs

Unfortunately I'm used to brake dust and how labor intensive it is to clean it off....I drive a Macan GTS with matte black Spyder wheels and iron rotors!

The rep at Genius yesterday said my build week is next week....

Which part of PA are you in? Discount tires still have the rears in stock and there is one in Pittsburg

Thanks, but other end of the state. I have to go with Discount Tire Direct, which like TR, say are backordered (rear). I contacted Continental directly, and they said production isn't to start until 11/16. Strange how some must be available at some stores

That is strange. I thought Discount tires has a common warehouse and just distributes it to the shop. I have looked at the ones in Milwaukee and in Greer and both seems to have them. Im keeping my fingers crossed that they still have the tires when im ready to order in Dec. since the prod is starting in Nov, hopefully the stock should improve. When r u getting ur car?

Did anyone on here look at the OEM winter wheel set up? I checked getbmwparts.com and the price for a set was not bad. $3880 with TPMS and mounted and balanced.

These look awesome, I got my 23 M3 base manual last week with the 18/19s, I assume the hubs and brakes are the same on the compa and base models so these should fit right? And I’ve been following this thread, my question is which set of TPMS did you get and do they have to be programed for the car to read them? Thanks in advance.

Yes those wheels would fit, as long as you have the standard iron brakes, and yes the TPMS sensors need to be programmed so the car will accept them.
