Winged, GT3 was born as a winged track weapon. Touring started after all the people couldn’t get the 991.1 R. Again GT3 = wing, without wing I will stay with the GTS.

I do share your thoughts (you as an owner and myself having had a 991 GT3) about the wing and what it represents with the GT3... and of course it makes the car much more aggressive.

Vic, to me the GT3T is almost the perfect car - but then again anything with the Porsche badge and GT to me (hypercars and the like excluded) are the pinnacle of street/track duality. Not to digress but, I think that what BMW did with the M4 CSL is kind of what they wanted to aim for - (the GT3 touring) albeit not nearly of the same calibre of special. I would do the winged car and prefer the de-winged look if you wanted a better touring. I also prefer white over agate grey, even though they are obth great colors and I've owned one of each. Now, we all know that even 2018 GT3 Tourings are 40-60K over sticker 5 years later so I think the Touring will always be worth just slightly more at any point so if that matters that could be the way to go. My vote would be winged though - and beyond that either of them are better to drive and hear than 99.9% if the cars on the road.

I'd go winged. Always. And you could always take off the wing and have a ducktail GT3, which the touring can't do. Great problem to have!

I've always told myself I would get the touring for the "stealthy" looks of riding a GT3 without the looks but I have to agree that it's made to have the wing, If I ever own one I will be using all the downforce it can provide and on top the auto spoiler looks so bad when it's open..

Just read Motor Trends review of the touring version and their conclusion was that the winged version was better. The touring has very little down force compared to the winged one.

I say go with the wing.

You wouldn't want to get the Touring if you're tracking and searching for lower lap times. I believe same spring rates as the winged version, without the downforce. But for a cleaner, under the radar 'grand tourer', the Touring.

Exactly - little differentiation beyond the lack of downforce on the Touring. The Touring is a fantastic car - one of the best street cars out there by good margin. At the same time, I still prefer the de-winged look of the standard aero car with the ducktail. It has the duality I'd prefer. Let's face it though, the 992 Carreras are so luxury, GT, cruiser oriented that I'd hardly call them sports cars at this point - the 718 cars are that.

Definitely winged!! It fits the GT3 so perfectly. I would lean more towards agate over white but the wing would be the deal breaker for me. I had a 991.1 gt3 agate gray it was my favorite car I’ve ever had by a mile.

Waiting to see when and if I can find a 992 for a decent price without 75-100k markups. I’ll take whichever one you don’t buy hahah

Yes, that was the best I've seen him drive. At the same time, I don't think Yanni is great at driving either. I do think they made it a bit closer than it otherwise would be with two equal launches and drivers.

Yanni is such a goof or portrayed as one for sure... but he has some nice rides no doubt.

Yanni adds to the color on CW for sure.

That third gear is a ripper in the 4.0.
