What's the build status of your car?

Ordered 3/27 for Week 18 build. Just moved to 'Scheduled for Production'. This is 112, right? Is it likely my car will sit here till week 18 still?

Same here, yea that's 112. I think I'm week 18-19 mid May , just moved to scheduled for production today after 3 weeks. I assume will be there until it begins.

Most likely you are both ahead of the curve as myself and many others on the boards here started earlier production. It might take a week or so, but you should be looking for earlier outcomes in my opinion. Congrats!

I called BMW genius and they said prod week is now 18, April 25-May 1. So that's a few weeks than I was told earlier. Could be the case for many of us !

I'm still hanging out at 111 status with a week 20 build week.

However, I did put in a request with my dealership to seek BMW Individual approval for a change in color and config. If approved I'll likely get pushed back several weeks...

There is a recording but that I think will give you a date but I always ask to talk to the person to get more information.

Recording won't say much. Ask for agent and they will check for you.

BMW Genius told me Week 18, May 2nd - 8th. Hope it gets bumped up!

Do we have a definitive list of build week to actual dates? Genius told me week 18 April 25-May 1. They told you week 18 is May 2-8. Not a big difference really but still

Strange. I was always under the impression that Week 18 was in fact the first (full) week of May.

Week 1 should equate to January 3rd to January 9th and thus week 18 should be May 2nd to May 8th. Build weeks appear to start on Sunday and the first Sunday of 2021 was January 3rd.

Makes sense. Either misspoke on the week # or the date that week started. Regardless it's earlier than I anticipated

Who knows, I went from week 10 to 15 and now what is this week 17? I think I'm just not going to check until Monday morning now it's too stressful. The worst part is you can't do anything about it, wish we could talk to someone on the assembly line somehow.

Bmw genius says car should be delivered this sunday 4/11. The tracker on line even says its "in transit" to the dealership. Yesterday the dealership calls me saying bmw genius are idiots and they dont know what theyre talking about. Car will be here end of next week. ....this first world problem is really annoying.

My car has been stuck in "in the paint booth" for a week now, still getting an estimated completion date of 4/13 though. Not sure I can handle a delay at this point

I will say that mine went through the last couple steps pretty quickly but was stuck in the paint booth for several days. I have a set date for my PCD and it's still super painful.

Wow so this confirms my theory they are backed up, I have been stuck in "quality check" for 10 days now another person has been stuck in "dispatched from factory" and some other cars are just waiting at the port.
