Still not feeling the front, but IMO M3 looks way better at the rear than M4.

Different wheels and colors, but otherwise matches everything we saw in person at the UDE in NJ.

I can't tell if the intake covers flanking the grill were carbon or shadowline here, but they were on the IoMG car we saw (along with mirror caps and diffuser, so likely some sort of carbon package on what we saw).

Great pictures! First ones where I can clearly see the quarter panel flares and that they went with the E30 style flares that runs horizontally into the rear doors rather than the radial style flares on the F80. Very curious to see better pictures of the rear qtr panel flares on the M4 as the F82's flares are quite subtle and I'm hoping for more prominent ones on the new M4.

where's the hips?

I'm still hesitant but will reserve final judgement for seeing it in person.

I would never buy a € 100,000 + car (in Portugal) that is just "almost good looking" and that is not something that will make me look back every time I park it. The car is not beautiful, it is only acceptable in some angles, and honestly I don't remember an M being that way ever

Am I the only one that dislikes the wheels? They're very busy. The pattern seems a little too delicate for a flagship M design?

666M was delicate but had classic mesh tones. These look a little flowery and have a not so good mix of concave and convex?

I am pretty sure the rear doors are shared with the G20, so the rear flares are on the quarter panel only. And the E30 didn’t have rear doors. In the same way, the flares on the 2-door are less visually prominent because they are spread over a larger area.

This is going to look positively ridiculous with a front U.S. plate. I still don't understand why the design language would incorporate it. Digging the wheels though

I'm also glad to see that the stock front wheel well gap btw the tire and front fender arch is not as ridiculously huge as on the F80.
