Has anyone successfully code the Euro turn signals for the A/M CSl Tail Lights

I know it can be done either through coding or re wiring but has anyone been able to get the Euro turn signal to work for USA Models ? On the USA models the Brake and Turn Signal work together as the Euro models the Turn signal works separately

Also was wondering this, theres some million page thread on the G20 forums about the european tailights that is tough to sift through. Much prefer the euro housings with the thin amber turn signal. In addition to that I don't know which markets do this but also the front turn signals on the laser housings differ in which the inside DRL turns off with the turn signal and other markets where it stays on. Assume this can also be coded?

There are so many different versions of the Aftermarket tail lights - there is 1 that looks 95% like the OEM Version but it doesn't have the initial light up sequence it just lights up but everything works as the CSL tail light - Hopefully someone can shed some light on this - theres got to be a way to get these euro turn signals to work

The coding process is similar to the G20 and others. The tail light will split but sometimes the inner taillight might need extra wiring or needs to be replaced since the taillight and turn signal use the same LED. Most of the features are region dependent and can be switched using coding.

Ive been working on this also for the CSL replica Style tail lights with the euro turn signals and found that the power wire for the brake and turn is on the same wire so what if the power wire in the tail light is separated with a current flow only going 1 way to the turn signal so when its activated it works - what got me thinking on this is they did it on a bench test exposing the wires in the tail light - In all I have a set that were going to disassemble I use to do alot of complex stereo installation back in the days but the average guy in this forum wouldnt want to go to th extreme to do it but its a good write up Im trying to see if its possible to just make a wire harness to reroute the turn signals well see

You would need a circuit that separates constant from intermittent power in a single line to accomplish what 12-pins, 120ft of wire and coding does exactly like OEM.

The front DRL difference isn’t market it’s build date. Possibly linked to ID8 but I can’t say for sure. Our 2022 G82 M4 w/ ID7 keeps the other DRL white whilst our 2023 G81 M3 w/ ID8 turns off the inner DRL.

So I managed to code the my 2023 G82 M4, iDrive 7 to not dim the inner headlight when indicating. When I first got it, inner would dim when indication. Can definitely be coded to stay on during the day. It was a accidental suprise when coding the head lights for anti-dazzle.

i fugure it out to do a plug and play without coding about to test it for voltage flow to see if a capacitor is needed -

I see there is talk about making this work with a G82, what about a G80 specifically coding just the rear turn signal separately ?

If the G80 and G82 Share the same Brake and Turn then it should work as the G82 coding process and using the hardwire set up as well

After looking at this I started to pay attention to my DRLs. At first on my G80 02/2022 build i noticed the inner light would stay on when outer would blink, then later in the day noticed inner dimmed. Conditions were same not sure what caused it.

Would like to keep the inner on when blinking and like to separate the rear turn signal from the brake, seems G80 coding or wiring is different from G82.

TIA for any input / clarification.

I have my front inner DRL to stay on and when its Blinking its stays on the Inners - For the Rear you'll need a wire Harness and Coding through Bimmer Code

Got the Euro Sequential turn signals to work on my M440i with the aftermarket CSL tails.
Thanks to thatguyM4 for the coding and custom wiring harness.
