Looks so much better than renders, IMO. You get so much more dimension in the front, than renders could show. I have no issues at all with this look. It is a bit bold, but not over the top which was my concern. With a subtle color it can still be a subtle/sleeper car.

Looks great. The front is fine. Hockenheim silver on an M3 would be amazing. Now on to the pricing and specs.

Can't wait to order an M3. Looking forward to the main reveal. Hopefully this thread doesn't fill up with the old bores who hate change and are upset over the grille. It looks stunning to me, so glad they've moved on from every BMW looking the same, the F80 is going to look ancient once this hits the roads.

IOM manages to look both bright and restrained in these pictures. If that’s how it come across IRL I’ll consider it but I really think Brooklyn grey will be the ticket. SPY is too much for me.

Don't speak just yet. They going to be here soon, swarming this thread even harder now. Most of them are just here for the likes.

It’s hard to tell but the hips (rear fenders) on the M3 don’t looks as wide as F80. I don’t like the little plastic extensions on them (probably US only and removable).

I agree. That plastic looks terrible. On a civic, fine. But not on an ~80k car

I saw the M3 at one of the Ultimate Driving Experiences about a month ago. Closed door. Yea it looks pretty much the same. Overall car looks really good besides the grille. That is going to take getting used to.

Although the gloss black grille looks much better than what's on the 4 series.
