Anyone planning on getting personalized plates on their G8x?

Every time I get a new car I say I will but never pull through.

Anyone carrying over a funny or M related plate?

I'll be getting one but since switching from a SPY build to a Twilight Purple build, I haven't yet decided on what to go with.

My SPY build was going to have: G80 SPY

I'm just going to continue with my ED number plate that I. ve been using. Unique with a special meaning and memory to me, but not some dumb in your face BMW plate like like 2cool4u or some other oddity.

I considered 2cool4u but ended up ordering "III PDL M". Apparently there is some shortage or other (either of license plates, or people to process this request) so still waiting for it to arrive.

I don't want to make my license plate any easier to remember.

Yes, for my future G83, I will continue the tradition. Personalized plates are easy to come by in SC. Who cares if they can remember my plate, try to catch me as I garage both my M's and live in a gated community with a guard 24/7. My batcave😂

I had TURBO for many years starting with my WRX STI then my Evo IX MR. I dropped it when I got my first BMW but have been considering getting another personalized plate again.

Same. I drive the same route every day and it's a very expensive car. I don't need people following me or anything.

In this day and age you don't need an easy to remember license plate when you have a smart phone handy.

My M2 had MI22ILE. Think the M3 might get MISSIL3

If I did, it would have to be some kind of self deprecating humor or sarcasm so I don't feel embarrassed every time I drive it. Maybe I'll get TRN SGNL or AMG FAN or something. NTADNTST would be good.

I agree. BMW has enough of a douchey reputation, although maybe a little less these days as it has become a car for the masses, but no reason to further that with an in your face douchey plate. Hence my ED plate. People that look at it realize it's not a normal plate, but have no idea why. And those that understand it are in a nice club.

I would only do it if I could come with something whimsical this time. Considering the color of the car, I could ALMOST see doing 6MTFROG if I could do 7 characters...but probably won't spend the money. Or maybe just FROG.
