2022 M3 xdrive Toronto Red

Picked it up yesterday. Really happy with the color choice. There were about 10 cars in the delivery bay. 5 were BG and the others were mostly shades of grey. At least 5 other customers and even other SAs came over to check out the car while the others didn't get much attention.

Did my first launch control on way home. I don't have a timer but it is definitely faster than my wifes X3MC and my old Stevio Quad.
Noticed the engine doesn't really start pulling until 3,000 which again is fine by me because I'm always driving in the most aggressive settings. Doubt I will ever drive in comfort and definitely never in Effecient.

Lost the tire lottery.

Got the tint guy to come to my house at 7am today for 35% all around. That was really easy. Black vinyl on the front reflectors. Putting on the VSC 2 valve controller as soon as car cools off enough.

Still learning the car but love it so far. This isn't a criticism because I am really easy to please with cars, until I get bored, but the steering in my Alfa felt more direct. The M is great. Just a different feel.

Congratulations! Have you tried RWD mode? I’m more interested in RWD mode with the 10 stage traction control if you got that package. Great car!

Order beginning of June
Week 27 Build
Arrived at VPC NJ 7/23
Held at VPC due to EPA certification hold and 2022 model release
Arrived at dealer 8/13
Couldn't take delivery until 8/17 because BMW didn't sent MSO

I'll give them RWD a shot. I didn't get the 10 stage traction control. I probably use 20% of the available technology in cars. Too many choices for me although I do like the M buttons.

Looks sick, I nearly got a TR as well. Curious why you vinyl wrapped reflectors instead of paint matching them.

Thanks. I had them sitting around so i through them on. Looking into the painted reflectors as well.

TR is such a great color. An X3M typically isn't going to stand out on the streets because it's just another SUV but I get a lot of 2nd looks because of the color. It's one of those colors that looks better in person as photos don't show how it pops.

I ordered this colour without actually seeing it in the flesh and have yet to see one up close. People have said there is a slight orange undertone. People have also said that the Fiona red has a bit of orange to the colour as well. How dominant are these oranges? I wish I can see one up close but not a lot of people around here go for reds. I can tell you there are no shortage of white and black vehicles around here that's for sure.

Works well together. The car is all red and black so the red calipers give the wheels some pop and detail

Coming from a red Alfa there is definitely a more orange tint with the TR which varies depending on the light. In bright sunlight you can see more of the orange. Cloudy or inside it's a deeper red.

Almost. I waited until I picked up the kids to do it so maybe 15 miles but they really enjoyed it.

That color is sick. Congrats man. Congrats. I totally agree with you about the steering. It’s freaking weird on this car. I can’t wait to see yours 0 to 60 numbers.

I don’t know about the rest of you but red is really impressing the hell out of me on this car.
