In my opinion, car will be blast to drive..however it looks horrible or in best outcome just plain...
Only thing that might make this car legendary is to produce M4 GTS/CSL version with new grill(front facia) and put all good stuff from bmw shelves.. |

I'm truly torn and ambivalent about this new M3.
Pros: ~ 10% more whp & wtq, laser headlights, bigger intakes, improved S58 engine dynamics (cooling, turbos, boost, new exhaust, etc). It's slightly more aerodynamic and likely has a lower drag coefficient, and therefore should be able to pull higher G forces. AWD competition models had better be wicked fast 0-60mph on par with the F90 M5, possibly ~ 11 sec 1/4 mile (or low 11s). If this car delivers by taking nearly a full second off the current F80 on both speed metrics (0-60 and 1/4 mile), not to mention what it clocks in at on the green hell, then I think the pros will be difficult to ignore. Cons: No iconic M3 bumped hood power dome. Buck tooth kidney grills really honestly look a tad exaggerated, busy wheel design is falling out of style, rear end resembles a Lexus RCF, plastic on the rear fenders distorts the true wide body effect; no more analog gauges, likely no carbon fiber drive shaft, choking new regulation particulate filter will muffle exhaust note. I won't be completely sold on this new M3 unless we start seeing some of the F80's performance benchmarks shattered, not just broken. |

So it looks like both cards have competition marking under the front badge.
Having the competition under the front badge would be a new thing ? don't think it is on the front of the M2,5,8,X5. |

Only thing I'm not a huge fan of is those painted side skirts.
Other than that, that M4 is looking sharp. I'd buy one. |

M3 is definitely better looking than the M4.
Hope these grow on me once I see one in the flesh.....

Front end just looks so horrible and so out of place. No matter how I force myself to like it, it just doesn't work... That is one front end only a mother would love. No offense to anyone, but IMHO this is the worst-looking M3/M4 that has ever been produced!

I can't like it yet.
I love the Isle of Man Green color, I love that photo from the back, I love the seats (even in that awful blue color), but I find the mirrors strange, the M4 is far from the ground (possibly AWD?) And I can't even accept the front, it is disappointing. |

Aside from the grille, both cars are 10/10 in my book. The seats are nuts! I wished they would differentiate the M steering wheel a bit more from the standard ones though

M3 just looks boring. Looks like an M340i with quad tailpipes. M4 just looks ol boy from the Goonies designed it. "Hey you guyyyyyyys!"

So uncomfortable to look at. IT MUST Be better in person, surely, just not photogenic car? Otherwise no way this was approved.
nice color on the M3 though, glad to see green back as promo color. M4 profile is Musgtang like...

I really want to like it, but the front is hideous. If totally blacked out that front end and bonnet may blend in. Too bad as i really would have liked to have the M3 Touring Manual. |
