Polarizing interior seats with the yellow leather trim and yellow contrast stitching, the blue (believe its yas marina blue) is way too light and as it has been pointed out before looks like a wet suit. Wonder how much the M tax will be for the carbon fiber bucket seats? Hopefully, these seats have different color combos — time will tell shortly.

Color combo is awful. For my "spec" I'm thinking G80, green, 6MT, cloth carbon seats, no other options. I have a suspicion those seats might come standard in the Comp, à la GT3 RS. Maybe a couple grand for a base car. Time will indeed tell. Wonder if F8x owners will start sourcing them for their cars.

In the end what will matter most is how it drives.
Hopefully they improved on the following:
- steering feel (I expect some improvement... this is the biggest miss in the F80)
- engine sound (doubtful, but let’s wait for the MPE. I think they just gave up and made it quieter stock)
- interior and infotainment (looks legit, perhaps the largest leap forward)
- weight (F80 is already light. Lighter is always better).

Can’t wait to see performance numbers comparison for RWD vs. F80. And weight. And to drive it to really get a feel for it. Hope it has a soul, looks are secondary.

Should be an AND (looks/performance), not an OR. I think you're dreaming on weight. M340xdrive is nearly 4k lbs

These carbon fiber bucket seats will not be available for the G83, so one less decision for me. For me, G83 comp, Tanzanite Blue II, full Silverstone, all options except for Driving Assistance Professional (don't want the offset sensor in the front grill) and no carbon fiber exterior package. The wait is on until next summer/fall for the G83.

Well. It's worst than I was expecting. Design wise, it's a disappointing generation, and I will for sure pass it. My F80 was a gorgeous car. This G80 doesn't stand a chance in terms of look when compared with any of the older generations. Very sad.

The Alpina B3 looks awesome! It took the grille vaccine. Perhaps a nice option for those upset with the G80's design.

Yes for the G82 SPY, as the carbon fiber bucket seats shown in the photos pairs well with SBY, but its a non-metallic exterior color.

The M3 looks a lil better than the M4. I think this might be the first time I favor the sedan over the coupe, but I would likely still buy the coupe.

1) Isle of Man green - Love it
2) M3 Hips - Look reduced but still a flare, need to see in person
3) CF seats - Not considering them but wow amazing
4) Rumoured Yas Interior - WoW brave colour scheme
