Their reviews are very human I'm a fan.
Having driven a E90 last weekend I can say the creaking noise is 100% accurate I cracked up during that part of the video. |

Awesome video and hilarious in parts. Love the E9X chassis. I didn't experience creaking in my plebian but had a whole lot of other issues by 80k miles. Thomas is right about the similarities between the E90 and M2.
I can't wait to drive the G80 and see how it compares. 95% of reviews have been glowing.

The E92 M3 is the only generation I skipped because at the time I thought my E46 M3 had just as much fun power and handling still. I was looking for an E92 to buy last year during COVID lockdown but prices for a manual were and are pretty high.
Can’t wait to test drive a G80 M3... |

I'm keeping my E93, and have my G82 ordered. Whenever I need an utterly thrilling motor, I'll jump in my 2013 M3 and put the top down. It's irreplaceable.

Finally a review of the G8x manual and another great video from TH! If I can summarize: it's not the greatest manual as it's a bit springy (shifter) and over-assisted and soft clutch, but is really well calibrated to the car and gives you a connection to the car that you can't get with the slushbox - which, frankly, is the key point.
As an aside, I think the Oxide Gray color looks good on the G80. It gives the car an elegant look that contrasts well with that grille. |
