Wait, should i be doing this as well? I have a car seat in mine but nothing under (just got the car 2 weeks ago). Will putting something under not enhance the ability for the seat to slide in the event of an accident and compromise child safety?

No do not put anything under the car seat—-you are right it makes it less safe.

Car seats don't damage leather. They make an indentation which easily goes away after you remove it.

Bad advice to put something under the car seat.

I've had a car seat in my 1M (our only family car) since my son is born and he is now 6

Congratulations man!

Nice combo, especially the interior color, one of mine favorites, and I like you decided for the full leather! I simply can't understand the people giving that amount of money for the car, and being able to watch the hideous grey plastic dashboard

And just from the curiosity, are you Serbian, or somewhere from the Balkan, because you look like the Slavic type of guy?!

Edit: I have now seen that you are from Bulgaria

I am surprised how rare M3/M4 (without exterior carbon pack) with mirrors and rear spoiler in car color are. Either gloss black or carbon. In order to have them in the car color, there is an free option, which no one selects. I think most of the people just ignore it.

You will be very pleased with your car! I hope it will come soon!

Brate, I got lucky, because in Bulgaria there was an Individual Package Option. It includes Carbon Interior, Full Individual Leather and Individual Color. I went for it. It was also like 5.500 €
In Germany for example, there is no such Package.

Has nothing to do with safety and everything to do with your own seat protection.

I use this:
https://www.amazon.com/Brica-Seat-Gu...69361573&psc=1

It's worked pretty well for me.

Looks like it does have to do with safety, but ymmv. As long as the seat remains taught and the protector is approved by the car seat manufacturer it should minimize risk. Then again my child's safety > my car's supposed seat impact.

Perhaps...

I grew up without child seats and even without seatbelts. So to me a child seat has always been an unnecessary requirement. But that's a separate debate.

Would you mind telling me how much extra time did you wait for the individual color? In Ro, we also get that individual package, 5,7k eur. Was contemplating taking advantage of it but my dealer couldn't tell me right away how long it will delay the car. Also I thought it included just the "standard" individual paints like Dravit or Aventurine red. Is it the same price if you choose any other individual color? Thanks.

I've had mine for some time now.

You are going to love the color though. So dynamic. Here's to lots of happy miles!
