I just checked in with the BMW genius hotline, and apparently, I’ve moved up a week to week 28 from week 29. Moving right along in status 152 (paint booth), which is supposed to be done by tomorrow, the 12th. As for how long it takes from there is anyone’s best guess.

Hope there’s some room in here for me!

Congrats! Maybe they flipped me and you. Day 8 at 150.

Nice! Shouldn’t take too much longer to get to status 151. From there, 152 comes fairly quickly.

^^ Nice! Are you EC or WC? I don’t know which ship I’ll end up on, eventually, since the car will be going to TN. I’ll drive it from there to FL through the Tail of the Dragon, and other fun roads, on the way back.

I am east coast my car should be going straight to Galveston I live like an hour away from the port.

I think the mygarage process goes pretty quick, and accurately, as my build just went to status 153 (Entering assembly line). Which is in line with the geniuses telling me to check back tomorrow...so, I'm sure they are a day or so behind. That also makes sense, due to the time zone differences and location of the reps, etc.

Can't say I'm not excited.

Really is! I haven’t the slightest clue, really. It’s now ‘awaiting carrier assignment’ so, my best guess is by end of August? Unless anyone knows how long it takes from this point/status to arrival to the States??

This varies by west/east coast, I believe. That's all I know!

But yeah, mid/end of August seems to be a fair estimate.
