From HRE to BBS back to stock?

I've had
HRE P101SC
BBS RID
BBS LM's
All in the last 6 months

I am going to go back to the stock setup but but but
I will be going 20" Squared

I ordered 2 new CSL Wheels from BMW
I ordered 2 new CUP2R's 295/30/20

I will run a 20" CSL rim up front 285/30/20 CUP2R tire
I will run a 20" CSL rim in the rear 295/30/20 CUP2R tire
This setup will be on the car for this weekend

Love that setup and all your pictures. Thanks for posting. Just wondering how it affects the car on the track. Please keep us posted.
Planning to track mine on a regular basis, starting this spring, so will be using 2 sets of the black CSL 19 and 20 OEM wheels one with PS4s (purchased separately) and one with cup 2Rs (came with the car). More comfortable with PS4s in spring and fall for commuting in case of heavy rain. Cup 2Rs are coming back on this summer.
How do you like the (modified for the CSL/CS) Eventuri so far? I already know I love the look. Sound? Feels any different upon acceleration? Worth it?
Any downside on the track?

For starters - The track isn't for me.

I enjoy driving the car | 7,500km in 4.5 months etc...
I enjoy making the car unique to my liking with top quality parts.


I would imagine the front end grip with the 285 CUP2R's will be amazing. On a previous car (Viper) The 285's up front felt amazing.

Its simply amazing.
The look - The fit & finish - The sound - The proven performance gains.
All the above = simply fabulous.

The Engine bay to me is one of the most important parts of a car - Opening your hood to see the Eventuri masterpiece is so gratifying each time

So great you are enjoying driving it. Impressive mileage in 4.5 months!Unfortunately, a large number of CSL owners keep theirs in the garage with delivery miles on them.
I agree that the track is not for everyone.
I will be mostly driving mine on public roads (probably 5,000 miles a year but I still plan to take it to the track on a regular basis as I did with my GTS and a track only E46 (both sold last year.) Not sure yet which dedicated track car to get to replace the E46.
Definitely planning to add the Eventuri in the spring. Like you, I love opening the hood and stare at the engine bay, especially in the winter when it is stuck in the garage (Chicago winters). I will match it with the CF engine cover as well.

Driving Season here (Canada) is too short - Need to make the most of it during May--November

Currently 12/15mm

285/30 and 295/30 CUP2R tires

The front seems to really need the 12mm to provide clearance for the strut tower - a 10mm worked.
I felt more conformable with a 12mm
I may even try a 15mm up there shortly
