Yep- the piped in sound is loud but I want the real deal.

I think Bro Muffler in HB will do it.

Yeah I actually like to turn off the exhaust button so the burbles go away and it also turns off the asd.

So the cats out and intakes are a must at this point.

I'll also check out the muffler bro place.

Let me know what they say--- they have done work on many of my friends cars but they are a bit far for me. I dont know if they will even know if the secondaries are actually sniffers but my guy did for sure.

When you say they're actual sniffers what do you mean?

Its a term used with Cats as they control the emissions and often when people remove them- gas smell can be sniffed out. Often done via a "sniff test" process.

The secondaries, as passive as they can be are still considered cats in general so thats why most shops will back off.

My muffler guy wont do the secondary cats (for reasons we all know)... you know of anyone in the OC that will do it?
I got rid of secondary cat and primary res. Now I'm tempted to ditch the secondary res as well :-)

Oh I see, I though that meant the secondary's also had a sensor.

I can get the secondary cat removed with my res removal and x pipe additional but I am worried it will be obnoxiously loud. Decisions, decisions, decisions...

I think if you leave that final x-resonator and lose the rest it'll sound money

Also curious if these midpipe shennaanigans will sound better with the active sound design coded off and some airbox mods.

I want to make exactly the same exhaust modifications as you do. Sounds great. Too bad the catless downpipe void the warranty.

Maybe someone from the UK will be interested, he deals with exhaust modifications and made some G80 / 82

Well I don't have downpipes yet. Stock downpipes. I just did the secondary cats and resonator deletes.
