So what is a reasonable expectation for us East coast bound folks to make it on a ship? The end of next week and anything sooner is a bonus?

Reasonable? 10-20 days after hitting "At Port"

Anything >21 days IMO is what I would considered "held up" or "delayed"

That being said - it's still possible some of us made it onto a boat yesterday or the day before. The latest it'd take to see an update to "In Transit" is around monday.

Realistically, if we don't switch to In Transit by tomorrow night, we're still at the port, and have 3 chances to move to In Transit next week. There are 2 boats leaving on Dec 4 and 1 leaving on Dec 5 to the east coast. We wouldn't know if we got on them until Dec 6-8.

Not a clear answer but in simplest terms: if you don't switch to "In Transit" by tomorrow night, you're most likely still sitting at the port. You have 3 more chances to switch next week. You'd know by Friday/Saturday, so 1 week from now.

If you're still at the port 1 week from now, buckle in and just hope you switch ASAP. I haven't seen anyone who had to wait at the port for more than 21 days in the last ~2 months (that was an east coast delivery)

If anyone were to get stuck at port for an extended time, I wouldn’t care if it were me. I’m not in any specific rush, any delivery time between now and May is fine with me.

I’ve been without a car for 3 months at this point since F80 was hit. As much as getting it delivered in a Northeast winter isn’t ideal, I def. prefer it to arrive sooner rather than later lol.

Picked up an oil cooler guard, license plate mount and winter floor mats yesterday during Black Friday to prep, and already grabbed a winter wheel/tire setup for it.

Tomorrow, if you enter the BOL Number AEF42101, you will be able to search the Tijuca (which left Bremerhaven yesterday) to see if your VIN is on board.
On Saturday, if you enter the BOL Number AEB41801, you will be able to search the Arc Independence (which leaves today) to see if your VIN is on board.


Those are the two WW boats. I'm assuming if we don't switch to "In Transit" today, we can safely assume we didn't make it onto the K Line Victoria Highway, which left on Tuesday

Hoping the fact that these BOLs are not updated/showing yet is directly correlated to the fact that my car has not switched to in transit yet lol

I’m actually week 46 creeping in here. I’ve been at port since 11/18. However, my purchase dealer is in Ohio (driving it back to NYC), and my port is Baltimore

He was at Bremerhaven. It's the G83's (convertibles) that are at a different port. Also, as you know by now - it's not FIFO and is completely random who gets on what boat, so to be expected.

My bet is he's on Arc Independence, which left Thursday night.

Now I just really want the Polaris Highway that leaves on Dec 4th because it will be in B'more on Dec 16... I took Dec 16-Jan 5 off work so I could drive my car, take it to the shop for some cosmetic mods, and get the break-in period over with. Would be a bummer to only have it around Christmas.

Idk; if you’re correct, we have a Converitble M4 in week 46 that flipped to in transit with Cane, so if he was at Z port and Cane was at Bremerhaven, curious why they’d flip at same time 🤔 I just want to keep hoping we made it on Arc Independence , 😂

This is where it makes like no sense to me, haha pure speculation
