I didn't see a thread posted for this week. I was initially Week 44, but I am doing an individual color (Frozen Preciosa red), so Genius just told me I was bumped to week 47 (week of November 17th). Anyone else?

Taking delivery overseas through diplomatic sales so curious how much different the timeline will be after the car arrives in port at Germany. Seen a few of these post in the past with about 1-month from Bremerhaven to delivery.

Just got confirmation from BMW Genius that I am week 47.

Was originally Week 43, but got bumped due to a miscommunication with my CA. He thought I wanted an XDrive. No worries/stress though.

Greetings, week 47 here as well. Genius told me I was originally slated for 45 but got bumped back for one reason or another.

I opted for the MP interior trim to get the matte CF inside instead of the gloss, but the only downside is I was told there currently isn't a matte CF trim option for the new steering wheel yet. Hopefully there will be an option for that in the future.

I'm really bored so I did a best case vs. worst case scenario analysis for all of us (excluding outliers like sitting at port for 5 weeks) on the east coast. You're welcome.

Best Case (East Coast)

1. Vehicle completes production on November 18th
2. Vehicle arrives at German port on November 21st
3. Vehicle placed on a ship on November 25th
4. Vehicle arrives at east coast port on December 6th
5. Vehicle finishes Customs/VPC on December 8th
6. Vehicle arrives at dealership on December 12th

Worst Case (East Coast)

• Vehicle completes production on November 24th
• Vehicle arrives at German port on November 28th
• Vehicle placed on a ship on December 10th
• Vehicle arrives at east coast port on December 27th
• Vehicle finishes Customs/VPC on January 4th
• Vehicle arrives at dealership on January 8th

I've watched every G80 M3 video on youtube at this point. POV drives, "swimming" on the highway, reviews, delivery day, modifications/custom builds ,etc.

I even clicked through all 50+ pages of the Dravit Gray photo thread...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for delivery by the the end of Jan. Mine is coming in to Galveston, so the shipping timetables are a bit different from my reading here. It could definitely be sooner if everything goes smoothly, but I'm trying to stay realistic given all the variables in production and international shipping.

Oh, and while SSG was an easy choice for paint, I definitely looked through just about every picture and video possible before settling on Fjord blue for my interior.

What does buckets have to do with it? I have an individual color. None of it matters really, people get bumped for all kinds of reasons. Hopefully it doesn’t happen, but if it does, it does.

I'm sure they do, I remember when my last G8x was being built, the rave was buckets getting you bumped but obviously it was all gossip, no one knew why. I don't care if it happens, I can wait.

That was during the era of covid parts shortages though, my last order sat in QC for 4.5 months and I know that won’t happen again.
