我觉得这个大嘴也没那么丑 可能看习惯了吧 虽然论坛里大部分人都觉得丑 估计还是要看销量了最后

God that car is so ugly! It looks even worse without the EURO front plate.

I dont know how any one could want one of these now.

Good thing you don't make up the entire buying public for the new M3/4 or else BMW would be in trouble! 😂😂

The videos on launch day had the reviewers mentioning you can option a sunroof, so I would expect so if you go that route as you remove the carbon roof, but not if you have the carbon roof, no.

Thanks Jcali ! OK, so if option sunroof you'll have body colored roof, not carbon.

Yeah, if you go sunroof then you lose the carbon roof, so would make logical sense you get a painted roof instead. This was the video that mentioned it; I remembered it as it made me laugh with his comment (also one of my favorite car channels):

Anyways, this car is essentially a GT car at this point. And for that, it's amazing
If you want to track you buy a Porsche. Only real track M car to date is the E46 M3 CSL. Nothing is amazing about the G82..
0-100km in Europe is not important, its Everything

Probably because M cars are street cars with trackable performance. You say it like its an insult. The M4 GTS and the M2 CS are excellent track cars, as is my M3 CS.

Agreed! Not an insult whatsoever. Regular M and Comp cars are designed for street. Tracking occasionally just for fun and you get a taste of what it is like on a track without flying completely off the rails.

The use case M was designed for is perfect for what it is. This paper performance measuring contest is silly. I recall a conversation I had with someone and he wanted to buy the comp solely for its higher HP. Ok fair for bragging rights. But I rather have more options in my base than that extra 30 HP

It’s more than just get a taste. A fair amount of M3 owners track their cars frequently and beat on them for hours each time. These cars are built and tested to a different standard than a regular street car. Does extra hp matter, absolutely! The track is a place we’re you want to go fast, it’s the whole idea with being there whether you participate in a race or just a regular track day. Are they racing series ready cars? Absolutely not but that doesn’t mean speed isn’t important.

The biggest difference between the base and comp on the F8x was the suspension. Handling dynamics were night and day. I got my F80 in base (was new to the brand, the comp pack was brand new in 2016, and i initially didnt like the 666m wheels I saw in pictures). I hated it after driving a few comp packs on tracks and with friends.

when rumors were abound that they were not offering the 6MT in the comp pack I got very upset because I didn't want to drive a lesser car because of my transmission choice.

One of the biggest and most pleasing surpises on the G8x (for me) is it's the same car with a different tune. The suspension, everything else is the same. Every option (with the exception of the black badges) that can be optioned for the competition model, including wheels, can be optioned for the base/6MT model. It's fantastic.

Agreed, it also has the nice effect that comp models aren’t a near $10k extra. You pay mainly for the extra power which is reasonable. Win-win whether you go base or comp.

My friend has an X3M with a stage 1 tune that he dynoed at 588 HP. Whatever power the base car has, mine will only be stuck with it through the break in service.

Just make sure the MT can take it.
