Anyone interested? Track Wheels and Tires
Sorry for the double post, started to think this section might be more appropriate.
Just throwing this out there incase these might be of value to someone. I bought these to track but they do not work for the AWD system since they are different size, I have confirmation from BMW that this is a non-issue for RWD car. Goodyear Eagle F1 Supercar SC3Rs - Super Sticky 285/35R19 Fronts and 305/30R19 Rear Wheels are Forgestar F14s and were custom made for the G8X chassis to clear the brakes and this size tire. The tires have all of 10miles on them, if that. I have $4,373 invested in this setup. I am sorry if posting this is a no no, just attempting to recover some of my investment and possibly get these to someone who might be able to enjoy! |

The square setup is my current backup plan if no one winds up taking these. I have had a several conversations with BMW engineering and the North American engineering contact for BMW had NO CLUE as to the acceptable tire size that the AWD can support. My latest question to them was to ask if they could confirm if the tires had to match stock sizes within 1% or if they had to match within 1% of each other, front to back. Will be interesting if I ever actually get an answer.
