I guess there’s also the small chance that ZF has managed to reduce aeration of the transmission fluid by either a more resistant fluid or more clever impeller vane design of the 8HPs torque converter.

That would certainly be cool! Maybe they dropped in a DCT? Then let that bitch rev as high as she can!

That will never happen.

Would you happen to have an idea on the price tag? I am sure the premium will be somewhere in the $25-30k range??

I can only guess the msrp. F82 M4 GTS + 10% = $135k * 1.1 ~ $149k.

My dealer has 1 allocation. No waiting list. They are going to sell it to the highest bidder and are expecting $20-40k over. I would expect most dealers will do this. Contrast this to the F82 GTS that sat on lots for a year. This dealer eventually let theirs go for $90k.
Allocations have NOT been distributed yet. waitlist yes. I'm pumped to see the car.

Are we expecting dealers to receive allocations once the car has been debuted? I am curious as to how the purchases will commence.

Honestly i'm unsure maybe not on the debut. But randomly today we got a second 50th anniversary allocation. Which only M certified dealers will get.

We're taking deposits on the CSL but there is ADM.

Maybe so. I don't doubt that they will get one as they are a high volume BMW and Porsche dealer. There may be wait lists but this will likely be with a significant markup, $25k+. I can't imagine any of these going for list price plus $5-10k just "because I have been a loyal BMW customer".

Hmmm…is that the production clothes? That looks more like a dressed up M4 than the hommage unfortunately. Really cool, but also not what I expect for half a mill. For that coin I expect the hommage prototype look, something unrecognizable from the $80k M4. Think Porsche Carrera GT or 918 vs the 911.

Great look for M4 CSL though, maybe they mixed it up, but there is a 3.0 CSL badge on it and it’s clearly lacking the duck bill and other details…

Tying to get more info from my dealer although I'm getting the sense it won't be coming to North America.

Probably just as well. The temptation would have been too strong.
