Hi I noticed on the G8x front mount intakes sound different than the x3/x4 M front mount intakes anyone know why? Some x3/x4ms have like a actual Stustu sound

I own a set of RK silicone front mounts for G8x and just watched the RK vid for the X3M install. The setup is almost identical except for the long pipe fits a tiny bit differently (different chassis shape). If you heard a sound difference it was the video or the situation that was different.

You need to remove the bumper to install RKTunes front mounted intakes on the G80/82/83

So I have the RK tunes front mount intakes on both my X3M and G87 M2 ( same set used on the G80/G82) , and I will say I concur with OP's assessment. They do sound a bit different. It sounds louder and fuller on the X3M if that makes sense. I dont know exactly how to explain it , but there is definitely a difference. Still a great sound , but def not the same.
