Supposedly “me” (first in line, M3 Comp RWD), expecting to get an Oct allocation and the dealer (who had been getting a ton of allocations for various models) magically got none for the M3 comp RWD this month.

As production ramps ( I design cars for a living) allocations usually aren’t decreasing they increase.

Is anyone having a similar issue with this dealer? I think I have been waiting since March, I can’t remember honestly.

Just getting very annoyed and wonder if this is real or just a run-around. Anyone have exp with this dealer?

You might be better off asking this question in the allocation thread - https://g80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1950034. There was a huge allocation drop last week and several people made progress.

Based on my personal experience and also other recommendations, its advised to be on multiple waitlist. This way you are not relying on a single CA / dealer who might be sleazy.

Im in status 150 with wk 36 but prod date saying 9/12/22. Still not sure when my prod will start but hoping soon. I think the prod date meant that the car is finished by that week so hopefully things r still moving per schedule

Yes this is normal. Next steps will be completed within a matter of days once it enters production line.

My vin started working on one of the vin decoder websites, so I caved and called the SA today... Turns out my crystal ball was correct. The cars officially in status 154

Time to start checking the Wallenius Wilhelmsen schedule daily and hope it makes it on one of the 4 ships destined to Canada this month . SA said if it gets onto one of those ships, then the car should be here sometime in October, depending on which one it gets onto.

I'd say you should call! Even if it's still in status 150, you can ask your SA to talk to one of the dealership managers, and they could provide you with an ETA on when it'll go into status 160. (My SA didn't have this info when I asked 2 weeks ago, and the manager was able to provide extra info like some etas including the status 160 eta etc...)

P.S the two vin decoders I used are bimmer.work and M decoder. The vins working on bimmer.works so far, but still isn't working on M decoder.

My status changed last Thursday and given that most of the peoples cars that are being built are for this week, Im hoping my status might change around Thur or Friday. I will still check them multiple times a day coz Im crazy but dont expect much to change until later this week lol

Confused though as it states production week 36 and then "Expected status 60" 09/13, which would be week 37

Congrats! 160 is released to distribution, so I think the car could still start production/ be built this week.

It’s like mine too. It’s supposed to be wk 36 but prod date 9/12. So I presumed that it’s being built this wk and finished by 9/12 which should technically still be wk36. Hope this is true 🤪🤪

Are you in status 150? If you are in 112, it wont show a prod date.
