Just got a 24 M3 CS and it sits damn high!! Now Lowered see Page 3!!

So I know I was one of the first to lower a G80 back in 2021 but this new CS is a different animal and some of you will say dont touch it and I respect that.

But personally I wont probably track it and just enjoy ripping it as a nice semi daily on the curves and bends near the mountains where I live. So lowering it wont affect my functional use as much but will improve the form.

So I really dont know much lately about springs and HAS kits as I was always on MSS with my two prior G80's but think there are now better options. Looking up part numbers, most setups are used for the CS and non CS cars like H&R and KW. Any thoughts on, if I decide to lower, as to what is probably best from a spring rate perspective?

Currently my two thoughts are:

KW HAS
M Performance HAS

But isnt the M part just a private KW label?

Anyways here is the car 2 days old and in 4x4 mode (blocks not there LOL)

I have the M Performance HAS Kit on mine and im extremely satisfied with ride quality, and height. Although I have slight rubbing with 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers on a 21' Competition RWD

Curious if you though about going with coils as springs are only part of the suspension geometry. The car is very capable in stock form and yes springs would get you the drop that you’d like but coils would allow you to love and enjoy the twisties.

Honestly that didnt cross my mind- this is my 14th M and I dropped all of them but only did KW V3 on one and that was an amazing ride.

LOL I can proudly say I have never kept any car I bought with stock suspension, usually the first thing I do on any car I buy. Lucky for me, I bought this car from a previous owner who had the Apex wheels and KW HAS installed. Sits perfect for me as a daily driver so I didn't mess with the height. Below is a pic of how it sits...

1000%. I love the Monoballs and was honestly quite surprised how much improvement it brought for such a small investment.

OP: I went MP HAS and love it. KW, AST and others allow for more of a drop but if you don't want that, MP is phenomenal.

Did you have the MSS Hybrid springs on the previous cars or the "regular" version? The hybrids look interesting but are priced a little too close to a coil over at $2,500

Welcome back Vic. Did you move away from the GTS too?

I would do the Kw Has vs Mphas. MP Has is limtied on the drop vs the KW Has.

Yes indeed and thanks--- while the sound is not too bad with the ti can; the way it drives and shifts is incredible and just more raw than my departed 22 X drive or 21 RWD Comp. It definitely needs an exhaust mod to match its driving dynamics.

Fresno was pretty damn cool about the purchase but refused to deliver the car without an in person ID validation. Since I couldnt fly or drive up there last week, their salesman drove 282 miles South to me to do the validation and purchase agreement.
