Okay so has anyone that has this PMA stop actually had their work order closed and has received their car or at least waiting ??? If so how long did you have to wait from open to close? I don't want to be impatient but come on now . BMW just sending all these cars here just to sit . WTF

PMA is new. Cars with this recall just started arriving to port. No one that I know has had theirs fixed yet.

Looks like it started with Week 3 builds. I haven't seen any recent week builds get affected by this so it must have been just a few weeks time that cars got this recall.

I'm a week 2 and have the PMA and RAM. Still open but i just hit port today.

I ran the VIN of the M4 Competition Convertible on the local dealers website that is about a week or two ahead of mine as far as delivery. It originally showed the same two issues causing a Stop Sale on my incoming car, but as of yesterday shows all clear. Sounds like they're fixing things quickly when they get to the VPC. Let's just hope they don't run out of parts.

I'm not tracking that car's progress. I just know it's a few weeks or so ahead of my car based on when it first appeared on the local dealer's inventory. And that it quickly cleared the Stop Sale issues. My car is scheduled to arrive at Oxnard on the 25th, but may be ahead of schedule based on the progress of the shipping vessel (LAKE TAUPO).

It is so hard to know what is accurate when it comes from BMW. my 530i left Bremer on 2/11 and that is when I found out I had the RAM stop sale. Arrived to Baltimore on 3/2 and boom I find out it has a second one which is this PMA. I can't understand how BMW didn't know about the second issue before it came here.

So i just spoke with Genius, and they have me as expected delivery to dealer on 3/13 (arrived on 3/9 via ELektra). He said this could mean one of 3 things. 1) They have the parts readily available for the stop sales 2) they will deliver the car to the dealer who will be unable to sell it to me until the stop sale parts are fitted, 3) that's an initial estimate that will change once they open work orders assuming the parts are not in stock and they are holding it at the VPC.

Its going to be #3. I had the same conversation with genius.

Tons of people in our boat who had a scheduled delivery date and it ended up getting pushed due to SS.

I hear you. I've already checked the recall tool 7 times today.

This wait feels like its going to be the most brutal. It may not take as long as the other delays in the process but being this close to getting my car and having to wait realllllllly sucks.

Well I just checked the recall tool for the first time today after reading todays posts. Looks like it's closed now. So I would assume it's going to get on a ship soon 🤷. Hope the rest of you guys that are still waiting on a boat see the same thing. [IMG][/IMG]
