Who said it's too cold for a wash? Well deserved bath 23 days after her last one

Here's a couple pics of clean Portimao Blue without sun.

It's never too cold here, either, for a car wash. Last Saturday it was 6°F outside. Inside the heated garage (a.k.a. personal wash bay) it was a chilly 37°F with the doors cracked for drainage. A couple hours later (detailing after drying) it had rebounded to a balmy 51°F.

Speaking of washing... before and after shot after a couple of weeks worth of rain.

FDG really does a great job of hiding the dirt between washes... the wheels and gloss black not so much.

I must say, I was not a fan of this color before seeing it in person. Car looks amazing in person.
I’m guessing it’ll look gorgeous in person.
6MT too!
But that markup is hard to swallow.

I love how the frozen paint accentuates the character lines!

100% agree. Feels like you can go weeks between washes on the FDG... but oh those wheels. That gives it away that she's dirty. I've ceramic coated my wheels and still they get that gray brake dust look.

Even more expensive than here in the UK, it's about £85 (GBP) for a full tank of Shell V Power / super unleaded (99 RON), which I reckon is about $465 (USD) for 4 tank fills

Therefore at $555 you're the winner! (kind of )

Did I get you all stressed about wheel gap? I will post pics when I get time to put my spacers on. I still think the G80 sits about a 1/2" lower than the G82.

Haha…I was the same way with my F8xs, but I was all talk and never installed spacers or lowered. G82 just looks super high depending on the camera angle.

I agree it does a certain angles. I tried spacers on my 2 F80s and always had steering wheel vibrations and took them off... So I hope with the FC hub bolt spacers I won't have that issue. I thought about lowering but every car I lowered in the past completely changes how it rides.

It doesnt sit lower, it just looks like it because the rear wheel arch is smaller.
Ride height is the same.

Maybe it's an illusion but my M3 looked lower than my M4.
