You can just use a strong adhesive or any metal/plastic bonding agent (JB Weld, 3M, Loctite, etc.).

I bought the Hexagon 1mm spacing option from that amazon listing, since it looks similar to the Vor covers. Will post results!

Did you bond the mesh before or after fixing the grills to the bumper?

The mesh was bonded behind the grills while attached to the front bumper. See post #51 above for a visual reference of the install.

Mesh looks great, does anyone know if the Vorsteiner black mesh

will fit the Unit17 grill? I'm not holding my breath, but it would be a nice solution if it did.

I like the mesh idea. I was thinking about doing the same thing because of the exposed coolers.

Looking for feedback on this. The ovals and angles match the CSL grill really good. But I'm afraid it may be too much.
Honestly I may just try it. It's not like it's a lot of money to experiment.

It matches well, but I think you might have problems trying to fasten a plastic mesh to the grill as it is not as malleable as a metal mesh.

I will mount metal L tabs on the backside edge with SEM plastic/metal body adhesive.
Then over cut the grill and screw it to the tabs through an opening with a large washer body screw.
You won’t see any of it. If I don’t like it I’ll just unscrew it and use the tabs for mesh.

Heads up the vorsteiner mesh doesn't fit the BayOptiks CSL style grill. Bottom part could e modified but top isn't large enough.

Sucks, but don’t think it was ever designed for the CSL Style.
Probably only fits the original Vorsteiner CF grille.

Yeah it's a bummer, but I went ahead and ordered some mesh and a sheet metal bending tool. Will make for a fun Saturday project. Hardest part will be lining up the ACC trimming

It’s a good demonstration. I still think it would be fine with the mesh though as it is still a fairly large area. Do the mesh and switch to the CSF radiator and you’ll be good.

Now I have to buy a $700 radiator and rip the whole front end apart, for some mesh screens.
