Hey everyone. So I have the vorsteiner abs grille that I sent out to IND to get painted. Long story short I reached out to vorsteiner bc I saw a video of them installing a mesh on the grille of a m4. Somehow I was able to get them to send me out a set before they even release it on there site. The only thing is the first set they sent me was not what I expected and for the price I paid I wanted it perfect. That said if someone is a little handy I'm sure they can make it work. I wanted perfect. Anyway they are sending me a new set. Once I receive that set I can give someone the first set and like I said I'm sure you can get it to work. If interested pm me I can show pics. Don't want to show them up here bc it is vorsteiner and I don't want to put any negativity towards the brand. With all that being said I was told they will be releasing a mesh soon. Guess I was lucky enough to be a Ginnypig. Lmk

Would love to see pics and even the video if possible. I have a couple mesh grill options sitting on my passenger floorboard at the moment that I have yet to explore. Would you shoot me a DM please?

Does only the 6 speed come with a lower mesh? Wonder if you can retrofit it on the radiator as the mesh that attaches to the actual grill itself looks so cheesy

No, I'm trying to figure out the stone guard situation. I want something in there. I ordered 2 different types of screens, and I don't like either one. I'm still looking. I just got the grille back 2 days ago from PPF.

Finally found some time to install the mesh yesterday. Again, this is a simple black metal mesh by AggAuto sourced from Amazon. I went with the 6x12mm rhombus option as I thought the 4x8mm pattern was too small and seemed too flexible. The 6x12mm looks to be a much smaller pattern than the pics Nic@Speed&Tech shared in this thread but I think this turned out nicely. It checks all the boxes for me.

1) Hides the foam bumper
2) Protects the radiator and oil cooler
3) Gives the grill section a deeper, darker look

Thanks for sharing. I can't help but not see 90's Civic body kit mesh when I see that though. Admittedly biased obviously, but I'm glad it checked all your boxes!

Did you paint over the CF? Neat touch.

I actually just received the VRS style grill from xxii tuning and brought a sheet of mesh to do it myself, but good to know for those who just want a simple precut option.

Yes, left only the top cross bar exposed CF.

Yeah, saw this but that’s an entire bumper replacement along with the grill and front splitter. Surprised at their asking price, honestly—thought it would be at least twice as much. If I were just starting to mod my car and had not already spent over $10k in parts and install then I would probably give this a shot. I think it looks super aggressive.

I installed onto a GT Style CF Grill offered by BayOptiks. The fitment is great, no complained, the guys at the shop added the mesh to the grill. Came out looking better than I could expected.

any of the installed CF options with ACC support interfering with PDC operations. the stradale (piece of shit) triggers random PDC alerts and it is beyond maddening esp when their solution is to “have it recalibrated”.
