Anyone used a thermal adhesive tape to attach the LED boards to the heat sinks rather than a thermal paste that takes hours to dry?

You need thermal paste.
The factory doesn't recommend thermal tape by itself.
The circuitry gets super hot where thermal tape doesn't have property to transfer the heat to the heatsink as good as the paste.

Now, the people that wanted to do it cheaper, and don't want to go through him, are copying it. And there aren't many people testing their products. You're taking it into your own hands, trusting someone in another country, that could care less about your car. Most of the time, not even having a car to even test and research the LEDs. Copying them from pictures. Driving a $90k car worried about saving $100, not even sure if you're sacrificing a pair of $8,000 headlights. Id rather have someone I know, testing them.
lets not be naοve. he most likely ordered this in bulk from alibaba and sells them like most suppliers do. its not a bad thing if he does. but to say these identical products are different is a huge stretch.

anyone done the Icedriver RGB yet I see alot of yellows.

I ordered the RGBW kit from Icedriver but the instructions are terrible and explain nothing haha - it has a red, black and white wire

I was watching videos on youtube and it looks like they tap the red wire into the green/red wire, Black wire into ground but I dont see any videos showing where the white wire goes?

Any videos out there of the install with the icedriver aliexpress RGB DRLS? I may just order the Vinyldesigns2 ones - their videos look much easier to install.

I did the icedriver kit, two days later the head lights were fogged to hell and back, I do not think the heat sinks they provide seal well.
