Vorsteiner ABS grill

Just a heads up!

$150 less than originally advertised. Not sure if its a mistake or what, but this is more palatable than $899 for some ABS when you can get other CF grilles for about the same price.

Anyway, hope someone can take advantage.

Doesn't look bad at all. In the market for an ABS grille (prefer the black contrast on my Toronto Red), but right now I'm leaning towards the Autotechnik CSL-style.

I’m waiting for Ind shipment so they can verify the quality and finish, and fix if needed - or - stradale assuming the chrome version of the badge looks oem.

I saw this on EAS IG. It looks like it is a one piece design which is awesome. If so I am going to order this.

I have one on order from EAS will install same day it arrives and post pictures.

Having installed a few sets I’m excited someone came out with a factory style once piece!

Picking one up from IND as they're polishing them, doing ceramic and can add the badge beforehand. Great mod that looks OEM+ and less "look at all my carbon!"

Didn't realize they need polishing. I reached out to Vorsteiner directly but the answer was confusing..

Maybe I misread this, but the Vorsteiner ABS grill IS a one-piece. The carbon is not, though.

I've just seen a bunch of the from IND - its clearly a single piece just like the OEM one.

ABS versions are one piece. We just picked up our shipment in this morning, in stock and now shipping.

2012. The guys on the site below are not lowering/spacer posers. Some of them been on here well over 20 years. Some own Porsche etc. Nothing new. BMW dropped the ball on radiator protection. No excuse.

Tie/tye rap or use the through the radiator mounts that have been used for well over 40 years.

Quality on these look great and the finish is perfect for my BSM. Hopefully IND offers to paint these for the people that want them. I ordered from V direct.

I have installed two other grills and the clips on these look really good. The only clips that are missing are for the wiring harness.

This ended up not fitting for me. Something with the grill is causing the foam to push onto the passenger side sensor. The sensor clip on the passenger side ended up breaking off. So pissed. I was able to put the stock grill and bumper back on with no issues multiple times.

You can see where the sensor was pushing into the bumper foam in the red circles

Yeah I am not sure if the its the angle of the sensors on the V grill, or the lower portion of the grill. The length of that plastic on the lower section of the grill VVVVVV seems to be much longer than the length of the OEM.

I am done changing grills and sticking to OEM. Had fitment issues with the Autotecknic grill and now this one.

Just because it didn't work for me doesn't mean it won't work for someone else.
