Talking MHC+ G80 G82 Front Grille GT & CSL Styles **NEW PRODUCTS**

Elevate the aesthetic of your G8X's front end with this complete replacement MHC front grille. Crafted from state-of-the-art pre-preg carbon fibre, this grille enhances the aggressive nature of the G8X, making your vehicle stand out both on the road and online. The road presence provided by this grille upgrade is unprecedented, and you will not be disappointed with the transformation, especially when combined with the other pre-preg carbon MHC products we have available.
Unlike standard carbon fibre, pre-preg carbon is reinforced for increased strength and durability. It can also be an astonishing 70% lighter than other carbon options, ideal for weight-saving. Quality-wise, pre-preg carbon is far more consistent, meaning the chance of imperfections is dramatically reduced. The manufacturing process eliminates undesirable air bubbles and results in a perfect, sleek, smooth & high gloss finish, making the ultimate part to complement your vehicle. The finish on these grilles is nothing short of immaculate.

- Crafted from pre-preg carbon fibre
- 3k 2x2 weave (OEM Style)
- High-gloss finish
- Fitted to the OEM front bumper using the original grille clip positions

- BMW G80 M3 Saloon (2020+)

I really want the CSL style…but I'm just too damn lazy to want to remove the front bumper to replace it.

Removed bumpers from our STI RS ST multiple times. I'm going to pull this one soon for the ducts and the GT grill. I figure it's cheaper than buying a CSL.

The problem with the aftermarket CSL-style grilles is that they have the cutout for a "M4 CSL" badge in front which isn't the right size for any other OEM badge AFAICT. I imagine the reason is that the Chinese factories making these are using molds based off the actual M4 CSL grille. All the ones listed on aliexpress look identical to this one and exhibit the same issue. At least those are half the price. The worst part is the cutout is only on one side, so it'll look asymmetric if you leave the badge off.

Hey Mike,

I have ACC - does the CSL style grille come with an attachment for the radar module or does it mount using the stock hardware?

Do either of these come with a radiator protective cover like some of the other options on the market?

Thanks

Hello,

Happy to assist with any technical questions. The radars are mounted via stock hardware to the bumper and not the grille.

The grille just allows space for the radar.

We are looking into a mesh option to go behind the back also but it is not currently available and we don't have an expected time frame as of yet.

Looks like we need to cut both of these grill options to accommodate the ACC sensor?

CSL style has an option for ACC. The GT style does not (on their website).

Thanks; in the photo below, it looks like the green car is using the full grille (with no ACC model) yet the car does have an ACC module. Can you please explain this? Can cars with ACC actually use both versions of the grille?

You can see in R44's other thread the CSL badge holder is still meant for the CSL badge. They got creative and put the 'competition' bit in that space but for those of us with 6mt cars, the badge holder doesn't work.

That's clever, surprised no one makes a mold of that space, takes the regular badges, and then fills the missing part in with a black epoxy or something similar to make it fit properly.

I feel like all of these places lie a bit. No way that they all happen to release a “CSL” style grille at the same time, that looks identical to one another, and only fits the oem csl badge…..and at the same time was designed “in house” and made at “their factories”.

Mini rant over.

How come you didn't design this badge location for normal M3 or M3 Comp badges - or was this grill not designed in house?
