Ok. Happy with my Yellow DRLs especially that I was DIY and all works and I did not break anything

Question. Is there any way to turn off , without causing the error codes, this orange corner light ? I assume its on in US but maybe it can be coded out?

u can code them out using bimmerutility, the module that needs to be coded is named FLM

Can't do it via bimmercode since these are in a different module that bimmercode doesn't support.

Got them from EAS , they did the installation also.

I think Amber would look way better than yellow personally. Hopefully something like that comes out that’s not off of alibaba.

So unfortunately I don't have access to a CSL to determine the "correct" yellow to use. I just messed around until I found a yellow I thought looked well saturated and in my opinion fit best with the car. Here the RGB code I used for it.
Red: 255
Green: 195
Blue: 0

For those with complete sets of yellow DRLs that failed, especially during summer, could retaining stock heatsinks and changing only the chips with redoing thermal paste ensure that the seal / heat functionalities are retained?

if they are failing that fast its the LED Board - Thermal paste or Thermal tape there is not enough evidence to prove which will last longer at one point they all said it has to be paste and that was proven wrong - for what its used for on our heat sinks your LED would fail in a mater of hours as the heat it generates - I got 2 yrs on my M4 no issues with thermal paste. The number 1 issue is were the LED is being produced - There is so many different versions out there and people think buying it from a high standard shop is better then a small shop down the street if you know what i mean ... Doesnt always work that way

There isnt enough real world testing to compare in the auto industry - But im on 2 yrs easily no issues
