Does the 2022 M4 come with a front licensee plate frame?

Does the 2022 M4 come with a front license plate frame? If not, what his the best third party company to buy the frame from? Do they all look the same in the same location on the front of the car?

I would guess that almost all 2022's do not come with the front mount on the car. Mine is in the trunk and I took delivery last Wednesday.

The front mount from the factory, I believe, will require drilling into the bumper which is taboo for me.

Don't know if NY requires one, but if so, your dealership will provide one. I'd ask them.

I strongly suggest the Carbonio mount for the plate unless you want to do a tow-hook mount. If you have active cruise control it won't work, though.

Don't think the carbine works with all the cameras but could be wrong about that. I think the rho plate does based on other posts. That's what I ordered. Just waiting on the car

I believe the dealer is required to provide it based on the state you live in. If it's required, it's part of the deal.

It doesn't get in the way of the cameras but it does get in the way of the ACC radar module.

My dealership is telling me they will give me a front liscense plate frame, but that they will have to drill into the car to attach it. Will the holes from the drill netatigely affect the value of my car? Should I not allow them to do this?

Also, where do you guys think I should place the frame? In the middle of the grill, towards the bottom middle of the grill, etc?

If you're in a state that requires it, then there may be no way around it. The lousy thing is once it happens there's no going back. When I moved with my F82 to a rear-plate state from a two-plate state, I found that there's no good solutions to plugging the holes in the bumper besides getting a new bumper. In the end I installed a Euro plate.

If you do it, permanent or temporary solution, I think center grill makes the most sense. People say it helps break up the large grill, although I like the grill these days.

I did the Rho plate off to the side in the tow hook but thinking I should have gone plate less and just used the carbonio to quickly attach it when parked.

I'm gonna remove the Rho for now anyway. Car looks way better without any plate.

If I was to do it again I would do carbonio and take it on and off. If you want a permanent solution I think Rho is best. I wouldn't drill the bumper. No going back!
