Moving from JB4 to Femto unlock and tune through BM3, debating which tuner to use currently. Current mods on the car listed below. My goal is 9 second 1/4 and as low in to the 5’s 60-130 as i can get before I consider port injection and trye flex fuel. Most likely an E50 tune, i test my local pump E and its typically 80-90% which is great.

R44 catless dp
Valvetronic mid
XHP
JB4
Fuel It bluetooth content analyzer
May do intakes at some point but it’s not really necessary

Considering tunes from
Cedar Performance
F80/G80 Paul
utku

Anyone else I should be checking out?

Hello , does the BM3 flex fuel tune can handle OPF removal when using a mid pipe ? (EU version) or do i need an OPF delete device or some other solution ?
Also is there any instruction available on how to and where to wire the canbus wire from the ethanol sensor ?

Yes BM3 lets you configure any map to disable OPF sensors

So it is compatible because it’s not really his kit
Lol I mean can you buy the stuff he sells separate? Yes.
If he's putting separate parts together in a package it's a kit. That's literally the definition.

BMW doesn't make radiators and ZF makes the transmission. Does it now make it not a BMW.

Kit: a set of articles or equipment needed for a specific purpose.

PS I'm not a visconti fanboi or anything just dislike when people take away from what someone else has done.

You click on the Zeitronix site choose the correct package you still will need the fuel lines, fittings and harness.

Sure, its a kit, basic yet overpriced for what it is. I’m assuming that’s what the OP wanted to convey

I mean is it? Are most people going to go shop around for fittings and extended harnesses and hoses that are cut to the appropriate size for this application?
If not then it's priced right lol

I see that BM3 fixed the remote start issue... does this mean that I don't have to pay FEMTO for this coding?

Starting from 01.01.2023 - Femto is not charging for remote engine start fix. Hope it will be helpful for all.

Can verify this is true… wasn’t charged for remote start 😊

Check this thread. Quite a few people reporting their timelines. FEMTO usually sends it back out very quick once received and payment processed.

From what i heard, the turnaround time is relatively fast. Generally, it only takes a few days for Femto to process and have the item shipped back to you.

I’ve had the customROM OTS 93 stage 2 maps for some time. I cannot, for the life of me, get the valves to fully open when selected. Does this happen to anyone else?

Also, anyone running a canbus for flex fuel on the multimap? If so, is it working well?

I’ve contacted bootmod3 support and getting nowhere with the valves, and I sold my Dahler unit…

I didn't know that was an option... I thought it was just "open valves in sport"

This is what I meant, when sport selected fully open valves. Does not work whether in sport or sport plus, valves remain in stock open positions which is roughly 1/4 while idle. I know they open more depending on RPM, but I just want them fully open as the software is saying or having my Dahler unit.

what does support say ? personally i find it hard to tell what the valves are doing by trying to listen to it, is there a logging param that shows the valve state?

i'm waiting for the BM3 kit for canbus flex fuel, it's supposed to be out next week.

I have the AWE exhaust, I can literally see the whole valve on the inner exhaust tube, both sides.

Support says they’ll fix it in revision, that was 2 weeks ago and no ETA.

Weird, works for me, I just enabled it in the maps
