Same here, next step is to get the work order completed and then PC will reach out to dealer for the pick up date.. Not sure if PC delivery team works on a Saturday , else we can expect to hear back on Monday with a delivery date

Mine just switched to at port as well. I got a confirmation from my CA that it's at the VPC in South Carolina and that they have the work order open. It's getting close and real - it will just be hard to wait another 3-4 weeks (hopefully less) to actually go get it.

PS - @pankajmunde The_Transporter would be great to see a current pic of our cars at the VPC next to one another. Would also be cool if they schedule us on the same day for delivery.

Hopefully the work order gets closed today...I am really looking forward to do PCD but all depends on the date they give us....lets see what they have and I will decide accordingly...

I was just informed that the first available date is the 24th for the PCD. I think i am going to wait for it because even to get it to the dealer its probably going to be 1-2 weeks anyways...why miss out on the performance center experience.

I recommend reaching out to someone else at your location to read that email - they’re expecting answers by Wednesday.

The manager reached out to me and I confirmed him 6/24 works for me. Should be all set. Atleast the uncertainty around the delivery is over and we have a date in hand.

My CA emailed me this morning and I locked in the offered date of June 27th! Very happy with less than 3 weeks of difference of getting PCD vs just at the dealership!

Exciting - I’m happy at least two of us get to share the experience. I agree - less than 3 weeks away is not bad at all. Are you guys planning on doing ppf while there?

I am going to use the 3m painters tape to cover up impact areas - Bumper/Hood/Fenders etc and drive back to NJ. I mean getting ppf there is like 2 additional days at hotel...and i think i can get better rates locally....also if u get many rock chips on the ppf on your way back, then it anyways needs to be peeled off and redone...so i am just thinking to use the painters tape or track armour

I've considered that too. However, I will be using the G80 as my daily, and plan on doing the ppt anyway. From my perspective, Extreme Colors probably has a lot more experience in working on G80s than my local shop. From a price perspective, I am not concerned because Extreme Colors has a good discount for BMW CCA members and their pricing is in line with local prices.

Since your delivery is on Friday, it's a perfect time for you to join the Mvading the dragon event that weekend. Transporter & I will miss it by a day or two

Document wise we need to carry copy of lease agreement/DL/Insurance and the temp tags. that's it or am I missing something?

My dealership just told me to bring the temp tag and my ID… I guess I'll have all the other stuff just in case lol

I signed the paperwork with bmw financial couple days back so now the car is under my profile in mygarage and not a production vehicle anymore. I noticed something weird though…it shows wrong wheels now (825m instead of 826m) and also my mirror caps and spoiler is body colored when i am pretty sure it has the extended shadowline trim to black out those pieces. Car looks fine in bmw drivers guide. Anyone else notice this ?
