I believe performance center can only schedule so many deliveries a day and that's why they are backed out. I don't think skipping the experience is going to improve the timeline.

I will try to see if the car can be transported from charleston port or the greenville VPC to my dealer without any additional charge... A month wait for the performance center delivery is going to be very tough when i know i can have the car sooner!

I thought they said once it hit destination port any change in shipping will come out of your pocket? Unless the dealer will absorb the cost for you.

So you can’t let it RIP? Gotta drive in the slow lane for a month wtf lol

Looks like one member cancelled his PCD when the vehicle was in US VPC as in the below post. I have asked him if he had to pay any fee.

Check out YouTube for videos on how to properly break in your M car. I plan on following it to the letter. My G83 is gonna be my daily to 75K miles and I need take care of it and proper break in is a huge part of that.

Please read below, got a response from the guy who cancelled PCD last year :

Reply : I did not pay any delivery charge for them to change shipping I was told that if you change it before they receive it at PCD it was just going to add extra time as they got it on a truck.

Also called the performance center and they said once the vehicle clears all paperwork at VPC, they will offer a delivery date...if that doesn't work, then they will ship it to the dealer upon receiving cancellation request from the dealer...

Summer might be a busy month for PC. I also see that several members are planning to do PC in the later build weeks. You might be lucky if you get a date within 2 weeks.

So non PC delivery arriving 5/25-5/28 at Charleston should be fairly quick to dealer in Spartanburg, SC? Best guess.

I would think within 2 weeks if no stop sales and nothing wrong with it at port.
