Winter tires in OEM 19/20 sizes

Anyone running winter tires in OEM sizes (275/35-19 & 285/30-20)?

Tire Rack doesn't currently have anything listed, but I'm not sure if that's because none are available or they are just out of season.

They do have a few all season options listed which would probably work to get me around town, but not ideal for ski runs to the mountains.

Update 9/21/22: Order Michelin PA5s from Germany

These is the 829M package, right?

Prefer to avoid cast wheels if I can.

Have you thought about just buying four front 19" OEM wheels and run a square set instead in Winter?

Or buy a full set and run 19" all around in winter and 20's all around for summer.

Was planning to buy the 827M CSL wheels for summer and keep the 826M bi colors for winter.

I've run narrower square setups on cars in the past and wasn't really a fan.

So buy just two bi-color 19" 826Ms, and sell the 20" bi-colors....

Do you know the actual sizes they are offering?

Michelin and Pirelli don't list a matching size for the rear, and Hankook doesn't have a matching front or rear.

Seems weird they would limit sizes by region, but I suppose it's possible.

I was able to track down a set of PA4s through my local Discount Tire.

They happened to receive 3 of the rears in their last shipment, and are ordering the fronts direct from Michelin this week.

I believe these may now be discontinued, as Michelin doesn't list either of these sizes on their site for the PA4.

I ran PA4s on my last M3, and was pretty happy. Got me up and down from the mountains in stormy conditions a few times, with RWD no less.

FYI my tirerack guy recommended 275/30R20 rear with 275/35R19 front Wintrac. I didn’t plan to follow it tho. That makes the rear diameter slightly smaller than front

Ugh...just got word Michelin doesn't actually have any more of the PA4s for the fronts...and has discontinued the PA4 entirely.

Back to the drawing board...

I was going to put on the winter tires on OEM rims for 19/20 but did anyone went with 275/40r19 and 285/35r20? I see that there are more options for these sizes.

The official winter setup package that BMW sells is a square 19" setup. I got them (829m) with pzero winters.

I didn't really see a solid answer to the OP question. In the USA was anybody able to buy winter tires for the OEM 19 & 20" wheels on the m3? Or is the only way to buy winter tires with a wheel package?

Literally on live chat with tirerack now - the only available tire is the pirelli sottiZero Series II that they have that match OEM sizes

Pirelli just got back to them while I was chatting not available either.

I think I'm going one of two ways Michelin alpin 5s on square jet black 19 826m setup - waiting to hear back on availability of the michelins which would be $1536.64

Or just saying screw it and getting some all seasons on my bicolours

Yea I really don’t like the 829m rims Bmw offers with the winter tires. So I think my only option is all seasons on the oem rims or buying some aftermarket 19” with winter tires on them. Was looking at Tototires.com they had some options.

I’m currently thinking about buying 275/40r19 and 285/35r20 but I’m not sure if this will fit into and wouldn’t rub.
