I was also thinking it may be near end of May (Memorial Day Weekend) or first week of June for East Coast? Prob will depend on QC/port wait time?

Just found this from last year’s thread - interested to hear if you guys are doing port options

Also West Coast here and my dealer said mid to late July, so we shall see!

I was thinking the CF front splitter, but it's significantly more than aftermarket solutions, so I may not go that route.

I saw this one. Only thinking about that front splitter for now. Plenty of options on that.

I found this list from a couple of years ago, so the pricing has probably changed, but it gives us a bit more info on the port options.

Yep, I get it. I will be selling a couple of cars to get this. Plus, I rather spend some money on PPF/tint when I get the car and slowly add other stuff down the road.

I just learned that Fjord Blue interior is considered individual content. That means that the order locks in a lot earlier than non-individual. I tried to change to carbon bucket seats in status 111 but I can't now.

As far as I know, European Delivery is no longer an option. I think you either pickup at your dealer or do PCD.

That is my understanding as well. If someone claiming that European delivery is back to being available, I would opt for it immediately.

Did you guys get rough quotes on PPF? Am wondering if I should do it immediately or enjoy the car for a week

I don’t think it has been available since COVID unfortunately. PCD is now available but think you have to let your CA know early

I plan to get it done immediately based on my previous experiences on our highways and I hope to keep this car for a long time.

I will probably go to my usual spot for PPF/Tint. For my Model S back in 2022, it was around $2k for ceramic tint and PPF in the front bumper, hood, fenders, and headlights. But, thinking about getting the carbon roof done too with the M3.

I am planning on doing PCD and will do front ppf there immediately upon pickup. Have about a 600 mile trek home and then will do ceramic coating afterwards. I'm thinking full front ppf is about $2k there.

Nice - was thinking of full car on mine (5-6k quote which I’m not certain if great for my area).

Hopefully you have a great PCD experience! Are you doing the PPF near the center?

Hello all,

Was originally told by BMW Genius that I'm week 15, but just hit 150 today with a production date of 4/15, so it looks like I'll be joining along the ride on this thread!

  • Red Calipers
  • M Shadowline Lights
  • Ventilated seats

Congratulations! What a beautiful/unique color, think it’ll be great with the ivory interior.

Did you submit for PCD when you placed the order? Excited to see we’re having movement finally

Love that color. I feel like we don't see enough ivory interiors, so good choice there. Looks like I am still on status 112.

Thanks all!

So CA initially mentioned that PCD request can be submitted later down the line, but then I read some posts on this forum that folks missed their opportunity because they flipped over to 150/151 and PCD can't take you in anymore at that point apparently. So contacted CA and asked to have my request submitted before we got to 150, it was done exactly a month after placing the order, I was still at status 111 at the time. Confirmed with BMW Genius a few days later that it was set up.

Has anyone else flipped to status 150? I am still 112 it seems and I was thinking for week 16, we should be entering production sometime this week.
