Well I was in 112 but looks like I am back to 111 now. Going to try and call genius to see if my build week has changed.

• 8/18 Individual paint approved; moved to "Order Received" (111)
• 10/7 Scheduled for production (112, build week 44)

I was under the impression that Week 44 was 10/30 - 11/5, but the Genius rep today said it was 10/23 - 10/29. I wonder if BMW counts their weeks differently or the rep was wrong. But regardless, I think we'll start seeing Week 44 builds flip to 150 late next week.

I'm almost positive they consider the build week, 44 in our case, as the week the build is finished. So our cars should be finished by 11/5, but actually start being built the week of 10/23.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here.

Actually building the car takes a few hours. So if build date is 11/5 for example, chances are it'll start being built on the 5th and finish the same day. When it goes into status 150 (production begins) that more or less refers to the car entering the production queue, but there's still a line of cars ahead of it being built. That stage typically lasts ~2 weeks.

Just called my sales rep to see status (Canadian builds don't have access to build page) and I'm still at 102.

No delays so far. Individual colour build.

I just talked to genius and the lady said it would be October 23-29th.. So I'd say finished by the 29th if we're week 44. not sure if that includes QC though..

Weird, Genius told me Week 44 was the following week. There definitely seems to be a lack of consistency from one Genius rep to the next.
I noticed that a bunch of people in the Week 42 thread just flipped to "Production Begins" (150) within the last day or so. If we're two weeks behind them, it'd put us at 150 around Wednesday 10/26. I'm guessing we'd be finishing production the week after that. I guess we'll see soon enough.

We are soooo far away but i actually love the wait (to a certain degree).

I've done this so many times and it always made the end result that much better.

October 29th is technically the last day of week 43, that is a good thing if that's the case
