Which Models Can You Order in Individual Colors???

I've tried to research online, but have found multiple sources with contradictory information...

Is it even possible to order a 4 Series convertible in individual colors?

And the color I want the most - Thundernight Metallic - isn't considered an individual color, but it seems to be a current factory color only available in two models - the 240 Coupe and the Z4 convertible... Would it be possible to pay the individual paint fee and have that color put on a 4 Series convertible?

Pretty sure you can do both of those things. Have you talked to a BMW salesperson?

Pretty sure you can, I’ve seen it on YouTube. You’ll want to check with your CA, takes 2-3 days for approval.

I tried to get Donnington gray on my F82 in 2016 and was told no. Just because the color exists, doesn’t mean they’ll do it. You can always ask, but be prepared to hear a no.

1. Yes.

2. You have to reached out to BMW through your dealer.

Also you might get feedback from someone who went through this if you posted in the 4 series section of the forum.
