Hope you are all doing great. This is admittedly a bit of a newbie question. I got my G80 M3 a couple of months ago, and I never dabbled in car modifications before, so I hope you'll forgive me.

I was looking around YouTube for different exhaust systems when I stumbled upon this video.

The guy shows his car making almost 700hp with just the Valvetronic Exhaust system and a tune. I believe maybe also an intake based on a previous video.

I'm very surprised, because this number is so much higher than what everyone else seems to be talking about.

Is this something I can realistically expect with just an exhaust and tune? Or is there some other reason he's making so much power?

You can get 700 with just a custom tune with e50 alone. Also 700 on one dyno is not going to be 700 on another.

The numbers on the dyno do not mean anything unless you have baseline numbers to compare to (stock numbers).

We'd need a lot more info to form a useful opinion on whats going on here

Manual? If so then your clutch wont hold, expect to upgrade.
Any exhaust will net you those numbers, you just need access to ethanol, around half and half mix is enough to make that kind of power.
