I have Alpine White and love it because of the contrast against the black trim and tinted windows. I also get compliments on it all the time, and most of the compliments are not from enthusiast. It’s a really clean, well designed, aggressive-looking car.

I’ll also add that when deciding on my color I went and looked at 6 or so different colors in person. I would not have picked white based on internet photos…but when I saw it in-person my heart skipped a beat and I just knew it was the one. I highly recommend making the choice based on seeing the colors in-person.

White BMW is very classic color which can't go wrong. But I got mine in DG for a year now and not regreted at all.

Pros in DG;
1. Low profile, not drawing too much attention at work. No jealous no hate.
2. You are correct, DG makes less noticeable regarding on carbon cosmatic, but making less noticeable is a higher-grade of styling.
3. Color dynamic. DG displays a bronz ish color under the sun, which makes it looks amazong! But goes back to darker gray ish at night. This is a buy one get one experience for a color.

Cons in DG;
1. Dust megnet. Need regularly clean to make it shine.
2. After 1 year of ownership, even DG becames boring to me, not to mention the Alpine White?

Follow your heart, the G82 looks amazing on what color it is.

even tho alpine white is a bmw iconic color, probably one of the worst choice you can get on G8X ! It doesn't fit the car at all.

It is weird because I feel the total opposite with frozen briliant white on the m3cs

It’s not Frozen Brilliant White on the CS, it’s Frozen Solid White.

Did you verify that you can even change the color? I don't know if Dravit counts, but, its considered a catalog Individual Color, and individual orders cant be changed. But, its not a color that requires previous approval, but, I would make sure, anyway.

Not so sure what's this front lip called, I purchased in my region. But I found it on ebay, pretty sure its the same one.

My previous M3 was Lime Rock Grey and as much as I loved it, I missed my Alpine White M3. So now I have an Alpine White M4 and I miss the grey. Moral of the story: Get what you want, drool over the greener grass on the other side, but appreciate what you chose to get!

Dravit! My truck and our SUV are pearl white just like all of my previous vehicles, so I love white. Having said that, for this car I went with dravit and wouldn’t change my decision. White is always classic and classy, but dravit hits differently with this car. I love it.

Skyscraper is such a classy color though. I would love it on an X5 or 7 series, but for me didn't vibe right for the sportiness I'm looking for in the G8X.

If you live in an area with a lot of sunshine, get Dravit but if you live in winter wonderland, then Alpine.

I typically like white cars a lot but white on the M3 just hides too much of the body lines. It also makes the beaver teeth look HUGE in my opinion because of the contrast.

Generally I like AW in M cars. However I think it’s too much contrast with the new grill. Plus I love Dravit.
