Yup, I just corrected myself. They're fine to me, just having fun, but agreed, that 'supercar test' is annoying.

I can't stand the mainstream car YouTubers except for throttle house. Doug Demuro especially.

I'm subscribed to quite a bit of different car builders though. The creators that aren't full of click bait and fluff and without the sensationalist personality are all worth following and watching.

When it comes to YouTubers - i typically like to hear feedback from Matt Farah as his impressions are usually spot on and he can actually drive these cars with skill. Throttle House is the other go to.
SavageGeese is good for technical breakdown and review of engineering. I don’t like their driving impressions though.

Goonzquad is fantastic (except for most of this year which was focused on building their new properties)

I really enjoy AutoTopNL and their POV reviews. When I was looking into the F82 for purchase about three years ago, their videos really helped make my decision.

Demuro is especially frustrating as there is a good commentator there but instead chooses to spend 95% of his time going over the most mundane and pointless shit.

"The 2018 maserati gran turismo has a rear viewmirror 1/8th of an inch wider than the 2017" .... no one fucking cares doug, no one fucking cares.

Great story. Happy for him. Considering the exotics in his collection, I thought his net worth would be much higher.

Agree, sometimes I will watch Doug although only for the older cars as I find they provide more interesting content for him compared to the new cars which are purely just infotainment based quirks which are yawn-inducing. Although I have to skip his driving impressions as I don't consider him driving 2/10th's on a highway for five minutes close to interesting or worthy of my time, and his scoring system is beyond ridiculous.

i was gonna post supercarblondie, but apparently you beat me to it. i agree, she knows shit about car, but yet, seems popular, maybe the dude subsribers are fantazing about her, lol

Top professional journalists to me are Chris Harris, Henry Catchpole, Carlos Lago, Jason Cammisa.

Another guy that’s really good is MotomanTV. True enthusiast and does great job on explaining the driving characteristics.

She is very annoying and looks old to me around 40-50 so not sure how she gets views. Her hair is probably a wig.

This girl should have millions of views 😍

2/10th? That's way generous lol.

Ya, his scoring sys is cringey as hell and doesn't make sense. Car ppl love to talk about soul, emotion yet some of them turn right around and think they can somehow quantify it? Nonsense.

Ooof, that was harsh. I think she's cute but got too crazy as a bottle blonde and that is killing/thinning her hair, so it's ingenious she incorporated a cap in her logo so ppl get used to that look.

EDIT: dude, you diss SB but you cite this girl, who's pure fluff, does she contribute anything besides being like a Barker's beauties on the Price is Right? LOL.

If you wanna go for stuff like that, at least watch women w more substance, like Vicki-Butler Henderson or Anna on Roads haha.

I think Hagerty has good video reviewers (eg: Cammisa), as well as my favorite auto writer, Jack Baruth.

Have always loved the controversial Cammisa whether it be from his days at MotorTrend, to his short Instagram Reviews, his podcasting at Issimi and now videos at Hagerty. He's a self-admitting curmudgeon but also a no BS guy and doesn't care if you don't agree with his opinions, and above all else, funny. Him and Throttle House (especially when he guest stars on Throttle House) are some of the best car content on YouTube at the moment in my opinion. His revelations series which is also more history/story based than driving is also incredibly interesting, so many interesting facts about cars that I never knew.

Revelations: Untold Stories about Automotive Legends with Jason Cammisa

Surprised no one has mentioned Samcrac. Love his channel, genuine and I actually learn things. My wife, who isn't into to cars in the least mind you, even finds his show funny. He doesn't have any fancy tools, shop or even a lift but still manages to do great things including with exotics. It amazes me how he thinks outside of the box when parts are outrageously expensive. He'll show who you can use to have parts custom rebuilt/made at a fraction of the price. He also is fairly active with subscribers.

I've also started to enjoy watching Legit Street Cars. Seems like a genuine car guy.

Can't stand Doug or Scotty (my father loves him) but I do handle Hoovie for the most part. Car Wizard is pretty good for the most part even though I don't see eye to eye occasionally.

There are a lot of bad "car youtubers". Demuro isn't exciting or flashy but he covers a lot of cars and if you happen to be in the market for one he's reviewed I'd check out the video whatever vehicle.

Shmee150 is painful just because of his voice.

I liked some of what Tavarish does but the entire CarTrek series is painful to watch and not just Hoovie... Tavarish, Hoovie and Ed Bolian are all terrible.

The way you described Ed Bolian as someone that grew up with too much money is also how I feel about Derek Tam-Scott (ISSIMI). Rich Stanford kid... wouldn't have the opportunities he has without his family money but this is reflective of much of the world we live in.

Jon ThicWhips initially had some interesting content but always disappointed me because he'd talk about building the E90 M3 and OG M2 for the track but not once did they ever see the track which to me was a total waste. Then I realized that his entire channel is nothing more than a commercial for Kies Motorsports, Sunsational tint/wraps and all the other affiliates so that he can mod cars for significant discounts only to flip them... then wash & repeat ad infinitum.

Jason Cammisa & Randy Pobst to me are the best and after them no one is even remotely close.
