God I hate the grills anymore…while I'm not sure I'll ever own another brand, they still upset me if this is the new permanent direction (as it seems to be for at least awhile now).

Love that front grill. Kudos to the owner on color pick. It's a rolling flame under designed control.

Not impressed w the car overall. It is not that great on the track, a few year old 911 GTS was doing better, it is quick in the straight not doubt.

The look well it is an acquired taste like a very smokey whiskey in an Edinburgh pub that no one wants to touch. Furthermore, I suppose you could get that sick feeling in your stomach that you blew 150k on an M3 which dropped value by 50% when you took over the keys.

While a Porsche is always a Porsche and holds value and is faster.

Dunno for the money there are better cars out there.

No hate, I love Porsche, but they all look somewhat similar and the average person wouldn't know the difference. The bold look of this M3 makes a statement.

Yes through the dealer. The giant benefit of port installed options is it's done by professionals and the labor is free. Also, the cost is added to the MSRP, window sticker, which is huge if you are leasing and can be helpful for resale.

Can I add this at any time or it has to be before production starts?

I don't know exactly what the current process is but In the past you were able to add before it hit the VPC. Some salespeople aren't very knowledgeable so you may have to work a bit. The dealer adds it to the build and it creates a work order at the VPC. Of course if the parts are on back order it may sit there a bit. Nothing is easy right now.

The car looks gorgeous, but as stated above, I can't understand how the owner didn't order it with laserlights, just for the looks.
Maybe because blue doesn't match well with orange in the front... but anyways I would have ordered it.

The car is a sedan. Maybe the person who ordered the car needs a four door car. Is the 911 better than any vehicle regardless of the intended use? It may be hard to believe, but not everyone wants a Porsche.

Does anyone else feel the gloss black surround on the cf rear diffuser looks out of place when changing everything else to cf. BMW should have considered this imo.

Seriously Great spec... but why no laser lights??? They make the car look 100% better. The stock lights are plain and unexciting imo.

Not really as they can be ordered for dealer install after retail. We've got an M4 in now adding nearly all the the M Performance Parts including the exhaust
What are the labor charges on the exhaust install? Curious to hear how much it would be in full from a dealership.

It's pretty significant, you're much better off doing port installed, especially if you are leasing.

I don't know how much we're charging the M4 guy getting nearly everything, but it's a lot of work for the tech.
Definitely too late for me on port install but good to know for future reference.

I see IND now has the system listed for just under $8,200 so was trying to get an idea how much labor might be as I know I couldn't do a self install.

The labor is ALOT since you have to cut the rear bumper. Two shops in my area have said they don't want to touch this install cause it's such a headache
I was able to locate the install guide for the M Performance Silencer System Retrofit. Install time is listed as approx 1.5 to 2.0 hours. Getbmwparts has the install guide and 15.70% discount off the exhaust. The tailpipe trim module/tips are directly shipping from Germany.
