These pictures make me so happy to see. I got this combo and it looks mint. Wish I'd gotten the CF pack

Don't worry about it, wait 3 months and you'll have a plethora of carbon bits to choose from aftermarket, likely better than what's currently offered
I'm ordering without the cf deliberately for this reason, rather have some options as the offered carbon on the front is debatable if it looks better than the mesh and for the rear, well, we all know we'll have lots to choose from
TANZANITE is stunning..

What exactly did she say that you feel was inaccurate? Blacked Out Wheels? She stated blacked out wheels not Black or Jet Black. The rears are marching 20 inch wheels.

Starting "with the competition package you get the extended shadowline trim on our newly renovated aggressive grille"

the shadowline has absoloutely nothing to do with the grille.

Does anyone have more pictures (especially in bright light) of Tanzanite with Kyalami Orange?

Would be much appreciated!

I go back and forth Tanzanite vs Dravit Grey...

The other colors are great, but I want a subdued look.

With TB, not sure if the Bicolor 826 or 825 silver?

I agonize over the exact same choice. The 826 bicolor seem to be sort of grey with black accents, and the 825 seem to be proper silver with black accents.

Also not decided over extended shadowline. I don't like that it makes the mirror housings and spoiler black, I just wanted the black tips.

Here's my X7 in Dravit. When no light hits it directly it is almost flat non metallic. When direct light hits it flourishes with gold flake.

I would do the 825 Bi color wheels and without extended shadow line. I would however buy the exhaust tips black down the road ..

Hope this helps.

It looked like SF BMW had a sweet Tanzanite M3 they just dropped the mark-up on. Looked really nicely optioned - originally had an (absurd) $20k mark-up that seems gone, so could be a good buy for someone

Official TANZANITE BLUE II G80 M3 / G82 M4 Thread

Went into BMW of ******** to pick up some parts, and one of the sales guys took me into their back storage to show me the newly delivered G80 M3 Competition. It was dirty from the shakedown after delivery servicing, but holy crap was I surprised by the new Tanzanite II. I can't believe I haven't seen it yet, but I think that it is a great dark color for the G80. It looks really quite purple, only lighter and "bluer" when in the sun or direct light.

Check out the pics below. BTW, the front grilles really aren't that bad in person, seriously. North American plates would really look horrible. If you live where you have to have one, you may have to do one of those Euro shaped plates with your actual license plate number on it to get around it. Would love to see a G80 with the exterior carbon package in person. I really hope they sell the G81 in North America, because I will be putting down an order at whatever markup the dealer wants!

Haha, I am right there with you guys.

I ultimately decided on 826 Bi-Color as I love that wheel design. I also think the grey/black gives it a richer look vs the stark contrast of bright silver/black. However, that previous M3 with the 825m was extremely convincing.

Also going shadowline delete. Don't care for a ton of two tone, especially if its not CF. I don't think the silver tips will look bad for the meantime, can always buy black tips.

Now I'm having issues going back and forth between Tanzanite and Dravit (my m340i was Dravit, wonderful color). Current order is Tanzanite/Tartufo, but now I'm having second thoughts on Tartufo as pictures just got released finally.

Very good description! Dravit gray is phenomenal. I say it looks like bronze flake, but I guess gold is a better description. Then, it's Matte-like in the shade.

We owe the same vehicle... I'm not a photographer. It's the only picture I have.
