With that said, silverstone was one of the most unique colors I've ever seen.

I see pics of the M5 comp or other models etc in news and just don't click them because I have no interest, it's not hard

It would be nice if it didn't keep hitting the main pages as it's honestly boring listen to opinions of people who were never going to buy it anyway.

It is one of the 'standard' individual colors on the normal 3 series as well on the G80. Same as Tanzanite Blue. About $ 1000,- extra compared to the normal metallic colors.

I think this color is really difficult to capture in pictures as it is so dependant on the lighting. Under normal outside conditions it looks a lot better than these inside pictures.

I visited my dealer today to for the 1st time see a M3 in the flesh. The good news : it was a oxid grey one. The bad news nr. 1 : it was not yet my oxid grey one. The bad news nr. 2 : i forgot to make pictures in all the exitement.

Many here have said that you can not compare how it looks in pictures / youtube videos with how it actually looks in the flesh. I completely and 200% agree with this. The car looks awesome in the flesh. It also looks awesome in some youtube videos but it looks even more awesomer in the flesh.

We can all see in pictures that it has huge exhausts. In real you can see that is has very very huge exhausts. The grille also looks awesome in reality. Not : i can live with it but more like i can not live without it. It is a awesome machine.

And it also looks awesome in oxid grey. I hope to get mine by the end of this month and will then surely update this thread with some pictures of mine.

Looks a little champagne-ish. I guess it's the goldish/brown hue. Sometimes I like it, and sometimes I don't. In some lights, it looks like Space Gray, and in others looks like champagne. I know I wouldn't pay $1,950 for it. But, can appreciate it.

I agree this color is sometimes looking a bit champagne-ish/goldish/brown, especially in the indoor pictures that we have seen sofar. Outside though it generally looks a lot better. Especially in the sun. Like in these pictures from dms-01 in the other Oxid Grey Thread :
