G82 M4 Frozen Portimao Blue : M Performance style carbon parts installed

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Just finished installing all the carbon parts and it looks so much better. Currently running KW HAS and 10mm spacers all around, it will look so much better with a proper set of wheels, waiting of my BBS LMs are such a pain especially with christmas causing another 30-day delay. The IPE catback hopefully can arrive some time this week so I can actually enjoy some proper exhaust sound rather than the fake artificial noise lol.

Fitment is bang on! Really easy to install except for the carbon inlet which is not hard to install only it's time consuming. Need to remove the whole bumper and the shell within the bumper as well.

How the hell did you get to the 8mm bolt holding the front gloss black pieces on for the front lip install? Tried doing it myself the other week and couldn't get in there with just myself, thinking I'll need an extra set of hands.

Car looks great btw!

That looks great, well done!
The drop, spacers and the carbon bits make a huge difference.

And those R34s in the back

I did it by removing the bumper, I saw the video online they did it without removing the bumper but it’s so hard to do it that way. I need to remove the bumper anyway anyway because of the carbon inlet, otherwise I think you could install it with only the under panel clips and a screw without the 8mm.

Thanks haha, I can’t wait for the wheels as well. Just hopefully the wheels won’t rub with the 10mm spacers😂.

GORGEOUS. Couldn't be more excited for mine to show up. Thinking I need to get spacers and a drop right away because this looks AMAZING.

I am looking at BC Forged wheels and gonna do a slightly different custom color for them that pops.

Rides are similar to the stock but unfortunately I just found my front right suspension has an oil leak.

This project is evidence that there is no such thing as too much carbon. Awesome build. Congrats!

Got the front lip installed today. Holy shit what a pain in the ass. I probably should have just gone through with removing the whole bumper to do it.

It's definitely a process. The lip was the worst. The rear winglets are a breeze and the side blades are just tedious with the amount of plastic rivets that need to be popped off.

Good to know. I'm going to wait and get the front lip, and carbon intakes at the same time. Sticker shock kept me from ordering the carbon exterior pack, now I'm scrambling to order the parts to complete the transformation, albeit at a higher cost. To me, I'd rather pay cash for the carbon, versus making my payment $1,700 a month.

O.P. car looks amazing. I know it was asked, once, but I believe it was missed. Where did you get the parts, and how did they come out?

Yes, definitely do the intake and lip at the same time when you have the bumper off. It's too much of a pain to do with the bumper on as the two 8mm nuts holding to gloss black pieces are a massive challenge to get to.
