Anyone thinking G80 but then decided to go back to F80?
Has anyone been thinking of going for the newer more modern G80, but then decided otherwise and going back to the more known styling of the F80?

Nope. I had my F82 for 4 years and am ready for something new and different, especially with all of the new tech. I drove an M5, M8 and M2 back to back at M Track Days. The new style interior and dash on the M5 and 8 made the old style M2 (which is the same as the F82) feel very old and dated. I was actually surprised how quickly I noticed it as I wasn't looking for it at all.

Ditto. After 5 years, its either G80 AWD or M5C. I love my M4 it makes me smile every time I floor it, but its starting to feel a little dated.

Never, I’m tired of my F80 after 7 years. The problem is that while I really like that the G8X bring so much change visually and functionally (mainly AWD) I’ve started to feel it isn’t enough. After many M3s and many more BMWs I’m more and more eyeing something totally different, hint...rear engine.
Nothing to do with the G8X not being good enough, everything to do with getting something really different: |
