I still don't understand why they won't do LSB if we are paying for it. The color obviously already exists.

Please say Miami Blue! I want to order one in Miami Blue after I get my butt in the bucket seat option (need to try before I buy).

purely speculation here but maybe bmw plans on using the color for a special edition or 2022 model color? The M edition for the final F82 M4's including LSB were pretty popular.

Why?

it would help the rest of us know what colors are actually possible

You don't post about an individual blue and then not share what it is! Looks like Macao Blue to me.

I don't understand why you wouldn't say what color you got. [I mean this next part in as polite of a way as possible]. Are you wanting to keep people in suspense? Not have others copy your color? People will be curious as of this posting, but no one is going to be sitting on the edge of their seat for the next 3 months waiting to see what color you got or who shot JR.

But, if you post what color you picked you could talk about it, how you came to the decision, what you liked about it, what you maybe discovered about the characteristics of that blue vs other blues that other people might not have realized yet. There could be a discussion about it. You know, like on a discussion forum.

I am still looking forward to seeing your car though.

sorry if thats upsetting some of you by not sharing the color i picked. i haven't special ordered a bmw since my first new car a 2002 M3 in Sterling Grey. Now 20 years later i finally can get the perfect M3 just the way I want it and with a manual no less! so excited! hopefully there will be lots of different special order colors to see. I have a week 5 build currently but am told that might slip because of the paint. I have a PTS porsche and just glad I don't need to spend $12K for paint like them. I can say i was super close to ordering Birch Green. hoping someone does order it because I think it will look fantastic on the G80.

So just out of curiosity what do you think bad will happen if you share your color choice?

I don't think upsetting is the right word. We just don't get it.

If you want attention then post to Facebook, we'd all love to know what color you were able to pick.
